Historically bad! I will continue to watch but man, this is pitiful.Do we have a play longer than 15 yards in our playbook? This dump it off and watch your receiver get crunched is painful for both us and the players. Gonna' be a loooooong year but, draft day is going to be a BLAST!

And he’s surrounded with immense talent. Bradford would’ve won with that talent and OC

I HATED the choice of McCoy as OC...... But do you really think he's telling Bradford to throw a checkdown every snap?

It seems that Bradford is out to prove he can stay healthy, even if it means he can't lead the team on an occasional scoring drive.

Idk, but his paycalling is very suspect. No creativity whatsoever.

And my previous post needs to be edited...I thought he was playing in Jax.

There is no excuse for play this bad when a team has as much talent as the Cards do.
I'm not sure there is talent at the WR position. I agree that coaching is a big part of it, but I think they severely underestimated what they had at WR.

WR is pretty bad, TE is bad, for some strange reason we have a FB on the roster taking meaningful snaps. The LB are really bad, the DBs look pretty bad. I think the DL is maybe average, same with OL.

Still cannot shake the thought: How come Wilks did not see this coming for 8 months and be this abysmal in all three phases?

The D isn't as bad as it seems. They had to be on the field the majority of the game, on a short field, against an offensive juggernaut. Low 30's was a good showing.

Our qb is checking down every play into the flats, and our receivers can't get separation.

Taylor and Buc have been disappointments to me so far. The rest have been average, and we've been missing Golden and Pierre.

Wilks is a tank commander and nothing more. He's the Byron Scott of the NFL.

Pretty dumb to call them out for being bad when this team is tanking.

Suppose most here do not watch basketball (another sport with a salary cap like the NFL and unlike the MLB) but it's a strategy that has paid huge dividends for Philadelphia's 76ers.

I'm a couple weeks away from knowing if we are 2003, I can take my entire unemployment check to Vegas late Saturday and bet it against us no matter what the spread is on the road.

I did that twice during desperate times that season when we were getting mauled by EVERYONE on the road. It was after Cleveland beat us 44-6 that I convinced my roommate (who knew NOTHING about football) to drive to Vegas in the middle of the night, getting to Caesar's at 9:40 am for Cardinals v. Niners where we were 15 point dogs. I laid down my entire unemployment check for 450.00 against us and so did my roommate.

We then went out to the car to drink because we had no money. By the time we walked back into the casino, pretty hammered, the score was... 21-0... WITH 8 MINUTES LEFT IN THE FIRST QUARTER! That was the infamous McCown passes to LJ Shelton in the end zone for a safety 50-14 loss.

Two weeks later, i convinced my other roommate to go back against the Seahawks and we were 15 point dogs again. Did the same thing, went down 21-0 in the first quarter and looked like we were in smooth sailing... until Hasselback got injured. Differ came in and was awful and we white-knuckled a slim 28-10 victory to double my unemployment one more time.

Right now, I'm thinking the @Minnesota game and DEFINITELY the KC game @KC in November are no brainer times to make some money off this atrocity.

We have sports betting in NJ now. I have a feeling that if I do what you did I'll have my house paid off by the end of the year.

I don't even want to hear that the Bills are just as bad we are, at least the Bills can score points. This team is next level terrible, I had no idea what to expect from this team this season but I know it seems like Wilks and co blew a lot of sunshine up our ass and Wilks promised this team would come out and fight against the Rams and they came out looking worse than last week. This season is going to be catastrophic bad.

What annoys me the most is when they show Wilks on the sideline and he isnt doing or saying anything. With that level of disaster, you have nothing to say? Lol

As a hardcore SD Chargers fan (now converted since the LA move) I was especially worried when McCoy was being talked as the new OC.

When he came to SD he gave a good presser about “fitting the scheme to the players” which was exciting to hear but is absolute ********. He was never really playing Melvin Gordon, taking him out to force a running back committee despite him being by far the best RB, something I’ve started seeing with DJ already. Gordon has great speed but he never utilised a sweep it was all between the tackles. Also he was obsessed with running out of the shotgun with stupid draw runs.

McCoy as HC decided to punt when on the 50 with 4th and 5 and 7 mins left. They we down by 9 against the Pats who were milking the clock big time. All he always said was “I did what I thought was best for the football team”. The guy is pathetic.

Redskins didn't score a single TD in the game against the Colts when they looked like world beaters against us. This team may be historically bad.

I know you have since found out Gabbert was with Tenn not Jax, but something noteworthy, Tenn was playing with their TOP THREE tackles out of the game, one of their Tackles that started was promoted up from the practice squad... so, no, he was not surrounded by talent.... at all.
