I think the situation is flip flopped. Conner is redundant and, frankly, looked cooked before his big injury. IMO, Conner will be cut.

seems like some people dont know the difference between a 24 year old RB and a 31 year old RB....so its clear, its not just the team thats bad at football

We all love the guy but I don't even know why they bothered to bring him to camp. After they drafted Love the right thing to do was to release him so he might have found a legitimate shot at at least one more payday somewhere.

Not a great day for the Cardinals offense:
-Brissett threw two picks
-OL didn’t move anyone in the run game
-Elijah Wilkinson continued to struggle in pass pro

Silver lining is Carson Beck had his best day yet.

Take this for what it is, but the sharpest QB to end practice today was Carson Beck.

Looking more and more comfortable every day.

Excited to watch him next Thursday.

I generally hate comparisons but the more I see of Nolen he is taller but he reminds me some of Warren Sapp? I know people compared him to Aaron Donald and I can see some of that too but just the way he runs and comes off the ball reminds me more of Sapp.

Conner didn't have to agree to restructure his contract and play for less. He must've thought that was a better option than what he could've got on the open market had he been cut.

I included the Connor health caveat because that would not surprise me either.

I don't see them keeping both players, I think Connor is more likely to stick unless he's obviously toast but either way, I would be more surprised if all 4 running backs were on the roster week 1 than Conner or Benson being cut.

I don't think either Benson or Conner are tradable assets though.

Agreed that neither would get anything in trade. I think it would be peak Cards to keep the cooked old man RB. So, that's probably what'll happen lol

Connor haters.... don't be surprised if we use the young guys earlier in games and when the game is on the line, Connor comes in to close the games out. There is something about having a veteran presence when the game is near closing time. If he has lost it, it'll show within the first few games and then the coaches will pivot.
