I saw a guy onlne say the rumor is it was his calf not his knee but that didn't make me feel any better if true because he missed a bunch of time last year with a calf injury

Agreed, well, sort of. I think he gets cut. I don’t see him on the roster if they think Conner is healthy.

I think the situation is flip flopped. Conner is redundant and, frankly, looked cooked before his big injury. IMO, Conner will be cut.

I included the Connor health caveat because that would not surprise me either.
I don't see them keeping both players, I think Connor is more likely to stick unless he's obviously toast but either way, I would be more surprised if all 4 running backs were on the roster week 1 than Conner or Benson being cut.
I don't think either Benson or Conner are tradable assets though.

I heard that Nolan tried to run off the discomfort, but just couldn’t get loose. That sounds more like a cramp or light strain vs a major injury. Keeping fingers crossed!!

Do you think we keep Bam Knight? I think after last season we're going to keep 4 RB's on the roster. They might not all be active on Sundays but I think we have 4. That's why I think they might put Benson returning Ko's, we signed Duvernary so he's going to be the primary one but right now the listed backups are Jalen Brooks and Xavier Weaver, Wr's who I'm not convinced will make the roster since it sounds like this guy Smith-Masette is having a good camp and Fehoku is a ST standout. So I think the backup KOR guy is either going to be Benson or Knight.

Those “or” lines are absolutely hilarious.
I think Will Johnson is kind of an underrated story in this camp. He’s not mission-critical and I don’t anticipate he’s gonna be a flop, but I’m not sure he showed enough last season (when he was, IIRC, benched for a time) to just assume he’s a top 15 CB (which would be awesome).
Unfortunately for Connor he had to deal with crappy line play from the get go.
