How do we know this? Isn’t Rallis finally getting to run his own defense after being forced to raw-dog Gannon’s the past three years??
How do we know that LaFleur is inspired of Shanahan and McVay? We don't, but he likely is. Same as with Rallis.

"We are not the Rams, we are not the Niners, we are the Cardinals"? Is that the quote you are referring to? You really uncritically buy that coach speak?
So you can accept a coach’s comments at face value when you agree with him but it’s coach speak when it goes against your narrative?

Yes, I agree that NOW it makes sense, because Monti was ineffectual in FA. In the long term, when the decision was made to be miserly and not spend when the top talent was available, it became an easy excuse. It's a terrible gaming of the system that allows stingy owners to pretend like they're trying to be competitive when they really aren't. "See, we spent almost all that cap space!" Yes, by using it to retain talent either before you needed to or in a deal that could easily have been pushed over a number of years for the cap hit. That way, they don't have to try to add major talent via FA. They can claim they're trying when they really aren't.
People like to point fingers. You're neglecting some huge factors . If I may infect

Michael Bidwill is the boss. He has been in control and will be as most of the blame is on him

A new coach is here and his vision is on the run game.

It's hard to be a FA getting offers from a team that is rebuilding.

I find it hard to believe that Mike LaFleur won't be running some variation of the Shanahan/McVay offensive system.

Oh, he almost certainly will. Just like Rallis will most likely run something alike to Gannon’s defenses, even though I hope he will come up with something new. Only a few new additions, and the fact that the ones they did bring in are the same playing types as last year, strongly indicate that the core schematic principles will stay the same.

Even if he is, do we really want him to say it?
right??
He basically already told us.
when he said,... we aint the L.A. Rams, and we aint the Niners,...we are the Cardinals.
didnt mention green bay, or seattle,..or houston...seems obvious he plans to run a variation of offenses based on the different places he learned. not the "rams offense"..not the "Niners offense"...but something in between with influence from both....and im perfectly okay with that...
But considering how excited he was about us getting Love,...and we have the best TE in the NFL....and all our QB's are closer to Brock Purdy than Matt Stafford...my guess is we will be seeing more influence from the Niners offense. Im good with that....because once you add in a few schemed big plays that will make for a pretty explosive offense.
