He sure does and Kyler Murray equally owns that 1-11 record as does MHJ, Michael Wilson, Trey McBride, Conner, Benson, Demarcado, and everyone on the Oline....everyone on the cardinals team owns that record. Can we stop with blaming a single person for going 1-11 on a TEAM sport.

Saying JB went 1-11 is a headline grab and click bait
Especially since he actually played pretty efficiently during that 1-11 ..

Had the defense made just one more stop per game that may have well been 6-6
Several of those games it looked for all the world like Jab was the only guy on the team not failing.

Football is the consummate team sport

He's been weird with his darkness retreats and things like that, but has he committed any crimes, domestic violence, gambling, inappropriate photos, drinking, drugs, etc? No.i think he's a major DB, but his teammates have always loved him...and he k, even McCarthy took the Steelers job knowing it was probably a 90% chance Double A Ron would be his QB.
Vax liar that could have easily killed people with his lies.

Yeah, sure, it's a team sport and all that. But those are the games he started. And I wouldn't put Conner and Kyler as have equal ownership of losses they didn't even play in.
OMG, does anyone understand what a TEAM SPORT is? If JB played GOLF and won one match and lost 11. That is definitely on him. The Cardinals are a TEAM, so if they lose a game, the entire team/organization loses that game. Yes, we can look at Cado dropping the ball before crossing the goal line and put some blame on him, but the TEAM still lost the game. I'm not putting ownership on any one player. I'm putting ownership on the entire team/organization. This is common sense. I hate to even type this but...There is NO I in TEAM... you're on the team whether you actually play or not. The Arizona Cardinals Football Team went 3-14 last season.

And, really? I suppose it was JB's fault the cardinal's defense gave up several 40+ burgers....that a-hole Briskitt should have been out there playing defense too.

Guys, unless something has changed since the 70's. I played high school football, basketball, Varsity baseball and golf. I won or lost myself in golf. But in all the other sports, we won or lost as a team.
Now, I rocked math but for English and science that was the teacher's fault...LOL

LMAO.... I lettered in Golf too. It was a good passtime if there wasnt a real sport available to play. Golf and Cross Country were basically just my way of having smoke opportunities built in to my schedule. We had the county Muni golf course about 300 yards from the back parking lot of the school...so the class just met outside the clubhouse every afternoon...whereas the cross country team ran around the Golf course and the semi pro baseball stadium that was behind it...about a 3 mile run to go loop the course with the baseball diamond and head back.
I still remember the day... things were backed up a bit so it all came at once. the football coach got us together and presented us with our "M"...our Football, the Golf badge,...and the "86" all at the same time... got cross country a year later but the bulk of the jacket patches all came at once.
I was so damned stoked that day. Proud even. I was somebody that day. Not just a dirtbag dirty white boy from westside on the fast track to San Quentin. First time I ever felt like I was on level ground.

My biggest regret from high school was not getting that lettermens jacket.
My mom pointed one out on a guy one day as we passed by the school and asked me if I wanted one... but my mother had a bad habit of getting her ass kicked whenever she did something nice for me..step dad wasnt a fan...so since I didnt want my mom getting beat up over a jacket I blew it off...told her they sucked and were just for the preppies and biffs,..I wasnt interested.... but damn I wanted that jacket soooo bad... turns out,...mom already had one on lay away when she asked... but after I shot it down she canceled the lay away...I was so bummed to hear that, lol.

since im back in the hometown now...I have tossed around the idea of going down and buying my lettermans jacket..
why not?? I earned the patches right?...a bit of nostalgia, and a nice warm jacket...seems a win/win

I submit that Jacoby's slow wind up and lack of mobility made the line look like it was worse than it was. He owns that 1-11 record and I see a ceiling of 4 wins with him or Uncle Rico. I welcome any other option, just like Beck.
Mr. O'Baggins, I apologize for my first response. Trying to insist on everyone using common sense completely takes all the debate out of a discussion forum. And my definition of common sense in no way means it's correct. Please feel free to continue posting your opinions and thoughts and chalk it up to me being a huge weenis ;)

You are totally fine. I like a strong opinion. I am just reminding people that 26% of Jacoby's passing yards came when the game was in garbage time, meaning less than a 5% chance to win.

It is absolutely a team game and when we point to the defense being poor, we didn't sustain drives early, giving them short fields and short rest. It's very chicken vs egg.

I was not at all on the Beck train but I welcome any change from the debacle of last season.

It comes down to what they think about Beck. If they see him as their QBOTF then it makes sense to bring in AR for him to learn behind.

If they don't feel confident that Beck is the long-term answer than this move makes no sense as it does nothing for the team in the long run.
I think Beck would learn a lot more by watching a less physically gifted QB like Brissett who has made a career for himself through his study habits, interactions with teammates e.g. texting Wilson about how to exploit things he saw on film, and hard work, and who has learned multiple offenses - than from an uber-talented diva like Rodgers who goes off script and wants to choose his own O.C. to run the offense of his choice.

I would like to see this happen. It immediately makes this team worth watching. Aaron on this team gives us at least hope of a WC.

Beck doesn't need to start this year, unless it's an injury.

Aaron >>>>>>>>>>>>> Jacoby.

Aaron is anti woke.

He's not signed, that's why Pittsburgh applied the seldom used Right Of 1st Refusal UFA tender. He can go back to Pittsburgh with a 10% raise or the Steelers get a comp pick if he signs elsewhere.
that's not happening man
