I get the whole don't take a RB that high but I think you have to put it into the context of THIS draft. Mendoza, Bailey and Love were the only guys where you didn't have to project. Mendoza was the best QB, Bailey is a pure pass rusher, Love was the best RB. Reese was projected as Edge he barely played it in college. None of the OL's were locked in as the top guy at the spot.

There are no firm rules on what position to take in such a weak draft

Reese is playing ILB for the Giants and Mauigoa is playing guard. it was an odd draft at the top

agree...and in the end its all about money...and we aint writing the checks.

JLove will be paid as a top 5 RB in the league rather he performs or not.
if someone wants a top RB, they should just sign one...thats the thought, getting a guy thats proven already.

But those backs dont come available often...and they might not want to come play for your 4th in the division team.

I think drafting one was our best option..a small gamble.. but even had we signed a Barkley, or a Henry...with injuries and such...there was still risk.

in the end, we got cap space for it and it aint my money...and truth is I prefer home grown star players..there is just something special about them.

The best thing about Budweiser is no matter how many you have they all taste the same unlike Coors that suddenly starts tasting like water.
If you’re talking about Coors light you are 100% correct.

If you’re talking about Coors banquet, how dare you.

I would add the counter to the argument about his salary is the reason people say don't draft a RB this high is that their average careers are short and the absolute best ones don't stay elite as long as they do at other positions'

That also says IF you have an elite RB, you're better off having him from the start of his career you will get most if not all of his peak

Corona is what taste like urine. Same goes with Heineken
Heineken tastes skunky because of the green bottles letting in too much light. That’s why it tastes better in a can. And Corona is ok with a lime and it’s super hot outside and you want a water/beer with lime. Lol

i think heineken smells and tastes like weed because of the type of hops they use - the terpenes have similar characteristics to those in the sweet sticky icky - hippies started messing with ipa's back in the day in search of that perfect skunky beer

Truth is I just don't like beer... on two i ever really liked were an Irish beer called Caffreys, and a French beer called Bier Lorraine...

Well, except for the summer i turned 16... that's when Keystone came out...and it took me and my buddy about 20 cases out on lake havasu to confidently confirm that drinking from the "Specially Lined Can" really was just like drinking from a bottle.
Keystone was basically just Coors, lol.
But other than that... beer makes me hurl

DUDE!! You and A friend??? 20 cases of beer?? No wonder you don't like beer. What did you and your friend do, have 3 or 4 beers and lose the rest of the beer? When I first drank beer, two friends and I got a 6 pak of Schlitz Malt tall boys. 2 beers each, 32 oz's for each of us. We were drunk off our arses.
Hmmm, this might explain all those bodies in the drums that showed up during the drought!!

You were 16, this is not helping yourself...LOL
20 cases x 24 is 480 divided by 30 days is still 16 beers a day...8 beers a day each.
Now we know how the lake got filled...LOL
