Anyone think Midwill is tapping into the payroll to get the new facility up and running?

The Colts structured Daniel Jones’ contract where they can easily get out of it after next season, if necessary.
If Indianapolis moved on from Jones with a post-June 1 designation, they would save $38 million while only incurring an $8.8 million dead cap charge in 2027.
GM Chris Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen both enter next season on the hot seat, too.
So a creative contractEvan Sidery

Versatile backup, but Cards must get starting RT at some point.Elijah Wilkerson. 12 penalties and 6 sacks given up last year. Big yikes.
I hate it when you make me do this. "Pass rush specialist"?Williams is an interesting choice. He’s a pass rush specialist. If he continues in this role it should make it difficult for QBs to step up in the pocket. This could be huge for Sweat and other outside rushers. When Nolen returns this could be a very formidable rush.
It is a bizarre/bewildering take.I hate it when you make me do this. "Pass rush specialist"?
He played 33% of snaps for the Saints last year and had 8 pressures. That is little to no impact. It's tied for 178th in the NFL and the same as Jordan Burch. He is 30.
Come on man.
Maybe he’s looking at OT Jonah Williams’ pressures and sacks allowed? It is a bizarre/bewildering take.
We gotta hook them up with their new Harrison as well. A late first round pick should secure the deal!Their ownership is preparing...

I think you will see Dalvin have a nice impact in LA this year.Wait I’m pretty sure I can find a thread about not one but several posters saying how
Much he sucked and had little
Impact last year? Was another failed Monti signing? Which is it?
Stats came from PFF though I no longer subscribed. In 2025 Williams had a career high in pressures (11), sacks (3), tackles for loss (5), and quarterback hits (5). I don’t hate it a bit when you force me to do this. If I got upset about reasonable disagreements, I’d have disappeared long ago. I hate sniping, but statistics are like how a drunk uses a lamp post; more for support than illumination. Mostly he’s used on probable passing downs. He’s no star, but he’s functional in his role.I hate it when you make me do this. "Pass rush specialist"?

He's gonna get to play Harball. HahahaI think you will see Dalvin have a nice impact in LA this year.
He is just fine as a DL. He's a run stuffer and not a pass rusher. If Monti signed him to collapse pockets, Monti messed up...again. So instead of keeping the perfectly fungible DT, we cut him, won't use the cap space, and created another hole on an overstaffed yet undermanned DL.Because they're smarter than us.
Or the 2 first round picsMaybe. Could be buyer's remorse and a different opportunity or just could be Crosby's knee is worse than they expected.
Hey, is this the guy in that commercial that says he's a professional back up?xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
