BREAKING
The new “millionaire tax” on anyone making over $1 million in the state of Washington will cause players to NOT want to sign with the team, Seahawks general manager John Schneider said.
The tax would impose an additional 9.9% tax on earnings over $1 million a year.
No letting him walk out the door. Exercise his fifth year option and let him play out year 4.
He’s solid but not irreplaceable. No rush.
Glad I dont have to worry about that!MLFootball

ESPN Sources: Offensive Player of the Year and Super-Bowl champion Jaxon Smith-Njigba reached agreement with the Seattle Seahawks on a four-year, $168.6 million contract extension that now makes him the highest-paid WR in NFL history.
The deal averages $42.15 million per year, and includes over $120 million guaranteed, both setting records for any wide receiver.

Frigging....epicStats came from PFF though I no longer subscribed. In 2025 Williams had a career high in pressures (11), sacks (3), tackles for loss (5), and quarterback hits (5). I don’t hate it a bit when you force me to do this. If I got upset about reasonable disagreements, I’d have disappeared long ago. I hate sniping, but statistics are like how a drunk uses a lamp post; more for support than illumination. Mostly he’s used on probable passing downs. He’s no star, but he’s functional in his role.
