We’re just a pathetic franchise regardless of who you put under center. But, we were significantly better with him than without him. That cannot be denied.

Good QBs tend to succeed, even in bad circumstances. We went to a superbowl with Warner, we were one of the best teams in the league with Palmer.

Kyler isn't a good QB.

He's not Skelton, Hall or Kolb, but he's got huge flaws, he's injury prone, he plays scared and he's got zero leadership qualities.

Again...It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, Good Luck Kyler, I grew up in Minnesota, no more 100+ degree days...actually, very few warm days...I was five when we moved, the only thing I remember is snow higher than I was tall and more snow. I'm not sure my dad even had a lawn mower...just a snow shovel, and snow tires, and a disc they would put me on to slide down the snow-covered hill that ended up sliding onto some sort of frozen body of water...although I never ever saw actual water...hmmm

Palmer was here for a cup of coffee & why would you bring up Bradford lol. Without BA, Palmer was washed. Would have loved to see Kyler play under BA. Palmer would have retired a lot earlier if he was given the garbage weapons that Murray was given. And what’s even crazier, Palmer was even more injury prone than Kyler.
Remember knee deep Humphries, Murray would have been an abyss.

Let’s be honest. We went to a Super Bowl with Warner with a 9-7 team in a HORRENDOUS division. We had success with Palmer because of BA & the NFCW was weak during that era also. The NFCW was NEVER weak during the time that Kyler was in AZ. Good QB’s do NOT succeed in bad situations. That’s just a false statement. I can think of a few without doing much research……Archie Manning, David Carr, Tim Couch, Steve Young (with Tampa Bay), Sam Darnold (NYJ). Hell, Lomax’s career was ended early because we couldn’t keep him upright & Plummer was sacked over 200 times in 6 seasons before leaving and having success in Denver with a much better OL. Kyler is a good QB & will prove it elsewhere. Take that to the bank. The only downside to Murray is if he doesn’t stay healthy.

We had success with Palmer because Palmer was good. Yes, Arians was the best coach we've ever had, but when Palmer got hurt we sucked.

Archie Manning, David Carr and, especially, Tim Coach were all bad quarterbacks. Young was awful in Tampa and needed 5 years riding the pine to find success.

I fully expect Kyler to wow his first couple games, get dinged up a bit, struggle, pout, mope and lose. If he is on a one year deal, decent chance he gives up before the year is out if he faces any level of adversity.

I'm in the extreme minority around here who still believes Kyler can turn it around under someone like KOC, but his time in AZ was obviously done. Good luck to him in MN. I really enjoyed watching him play here for a while.
For me I will root for Kyler…and even if he does well I will still be glad he is gone …lol…he was never gonna win here though and I couldn’t wait for him to be out

I believe that a team can win with Kyler and have success in the playoffs

but that team needs to be good at the other 10 spots on offense, and

needs a coach that will design an offense to suit his strengths and offset his flaws - like what the Ravens have done with Lamar Jackson.

at the end of the day -- those two things are a lot to ask for AND pay him $40mm year

Kyler's best ability is his legs but he doesn't like designed runs and he is terrified of hits.

You can't play to his strengths because he actively avoids using them.

Only potential backup to starter role I see is the Rams. His family loved Arizona/this region. The Murrays are trying to plant a seed for next year with this visit talk.

I don’t expect him to, but damn, imagine the reactions here if Kyler finally exercised his demons & won playoff games in Minnesota.

Maybe it would make Bidwill panic so hard that he would be forced to sell.
