Eh, I think he works hard at what he wants to work hard at and wants to win. Problem is, working out a lot and being at peak physical condition is only part of the equation. He's either never understood what else he has to work at or isn't willing to engage. Time will tell if he can do a Jake Plummer and fix that deficiency or if it's baked in.
There’s a reason why this franchise has sucked for almost a century…….it’s spelled BIDWILL. I’m not surprised to hear that EVERYONE expected JG back. But, you can NEVER expect any decision that a Bidwill makes to be a good one. I’m happy for Kyler to escape AZ. I think he’ll sign a 1 year contract in 2026 just to rinse off the stink of AZ & then make some money after that with a winning organization. Meanwhile & sadly, it’ll be wash, rinse, repeat for us Cardinal fans. I’ve watched this play out for 7 decades, why would it be different now?

Teams want Kyler but they know the Cardinals are stupid, signed him to a stupid contract, and will most likely cut him/take a massive cap hit.
Why would the do that? Kyler would make more guaranteed money through a trade/restructured contract than he will/would on a release where Michael is footing most of his 2026 tab.
