I really don't know the candidates well, but I voted Vasso. Comes from a great defensive culture and is a great DBs coach. Getting Pleasant to weaken a division foe is a great idea, too.

I chose Charlie Bullen because he did well at turning the Giants defense around md-season. That said, all three would be fine.

Why are we waiting so long? We have not even hired any offensive assistant coaches. It is going to be hard to find any experienced assistant coaches if we wait any longer.

They have asked for permission to interview several. We have no idea where they are in the process and that's just fine. Also, they have hired at least two on the offense side...OC and RB.
There are several good DC options still available and only 3 openings.

Schwartz, if you can get him ..or probably Pleasant.
I like them all on paper, but I'd take Bullen because he has a real world example of being DC with positive results.
But I wouldn't mind any.

If I remember correctly, in the past I think they announced a bunch of coaches all at once.

I'm on board! Even though Schwartz resigned, I figure we will have to give Cleveland something if he decided to unretire and coach with us.
Sounds like Schwartz may have reached a settlement agreement not to coach this season.
