RAID the Rams! Neil Shaalhausse( sp) worked closely with ML would be my first choice.
On defense there seems to be quite a few qualified guys. Ultimately I want the guy that ML wants rven if it’s Rallis…as long as he REALLY wants him.
Why would Shallhausse want to come to AZ though? He can stay under McVay as OC and then have a great opportunity to be HC in a year or two. If he were gonna be able to call plays in AZ, that's a other story, but he isn't, so why make the change?

A. He won’t be calling the plays under McVay.
B. Maybe him and ML are tight.
C. Why would anybody come here? lol.:)
I doubt he is coming here or will even be asked. It just seemed knowing each other so well would expedite the progress.

Listening to this short Chris Simms analysis will make you feel good about the ML hire. At one point he says 'we' are one dynamic receiver away from being .....

Ummmm…he didn’t mention anything about or Rb room. I didn’t think he was to in depth. At least he didn’t have anything bad to say.

More an ML analysis than anything else. Reacting to the hire.
Sounds like ML wasn't really ready for the Jets gig.

Cardinals Head Coach Mike LaFleur: “I couldn’t be more fired up to become the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals and am beyond grateful to Michael (Bidwill) and Monti (Ossenfort) for this opportunity. Having competed against them in the NFC so many times in recent years, I know the type of talent and toughness the team has and cannot wait to get to Arizona to hit the ground running.”

MLF has been the official way to type out his name for 5 years now. Its the easiest way to differentiate him from his big brother.

You cant just call him LaFleur, and using another acronym or nickname? Well, no one would know who you're talking about. ML also belongs to his brother.
OK

Sounds like Zach Wilson wasn't ready for the NFL. MLs offense ranked top 5 in most categories with Jets QBs not named Zach Wilson.
I know you read this in a random tweet but did you actually look into it?

We’re talking Mike White and Joe Flacco for four games where the Jets had 8 passing TDs and 8 INTs. 7.1 YPA. 1-3 record.

Orr is highly skeptical of the fit, but emphasized his belief in LaFleur as an individual candidate. His criticism lies in the Cardinals’ overall situation, which he posits is not the right place for a plug-and-play coordinator hire in a tough division, and was more suited to the likes of Raheem Morris or Vance Joseph.

McBride is probably the one who is most in danger of being relegated a bit.

LeFleur and the Rams did a good job keeping both Adams and Nakua involved...they combined for 280 targets. 3rd was the TE with 56.

Even in GB, Kraft only averaged 5.5 targets per game in his 8 games played.

Hockenson got 4.4 targets per game in MN under KOC.

Brenton Strange got 5 targets per game under Coen on Jacksonville this year.

McVay and tree do not have a history if using the TE as a focal point. This should be one of the biggest areas to watch this year because the Cardinals should 100% trade McBride if that is going to be his usage. It needs to be at 7 per game.
One thing ML said in an earlier interview is it the coaches job to utilize the players they have and to get the most out of those players. He used Nacua as an example using him as a fullback at times.
If he doesn’t utilize McBride then we made the wrong hire.

I don’t have an opinion on MLF either way. Just like JG I have a wait and see attitude.

What I do have an opinion on is keeping Ralis which is an absolute mistake given how poor our defense played in big situations and zero pash rush in many circumstances.

If MLF wants Ralis he wasn’t paying attention last season after seeing many players regress from the start of the season.
Who’s MLF?
