Malik Willis will end up costing as much as Kyler with much less production on tape. Stidham...you want to do everything possible to piss of a fan base then go ahead....Cousins...yes maybe for a year.

Overall if I am a Jets fan I say Kyler Murray for a 4th or a pick swap is much much better than any of those options.
I can’t believe anybody wants Cousins. I believe He just signed a 100m contract last year even though they Pennix. Theres contract problems there.

The Falcons signed him 2 years ago and now they can cut him cheap. I think the Vikings might want him back as competition for McCarthy.

Good catch. Funny how he signs a 180m contract and the Falcon can easily cut him but we can’t do the same with Murray.

The Cardinals could sweeten the deal converting lets say $10M of his 2026 salary to a signing bonus and covering that cost for the team trading for him. This would drop Kylers cap hit for the team trading for him down to $31M for 2026 while the Cardinals would still be able to add $24.7 million to their cap along with a more valuable draft pick for eating the additional salary.
I'm guessing the Cards would have to eat $20-25M and only save $10-15M on their cap.

No way.
Haven’t you heard how good/special Kyler is and how many other NFL GM’s know it?

Other teams don’t play like we do because of, you know, poor Mikey can’t afford it. There will be a team out there that will gladly handover a 3rd round pick.
I’m also getting sick and tired of hearing poor Mikey can’t play like the big boys. He could sell this team for BILLIONS! Enough generational wealth for anybody. But Mikey likes playing real life fantasy football and we are coerced into supporting a minor league NFL team.
"Support" is a relative term though.

I know a guy... he bootlegs the games...and he buys his "jerseys" from a company in China for $24.99

That guy "Supports" the team spiritually. But does not support the owner financially.

Oh...and there is a jersey company that advertises on TikTok that sells legit jerseys for like 40 bucks too.....outside normal channels

I’d love to hear the long list of ridiculous assets given up for questionable veteran QBs since 2020. Feel free to include the fate of the GMs who made those trades in the following 12-18 months.
Why since 2020?

I get it. But I believe it’s a small percentage of what they bring in.

well yeah...the bulk of their money comes from broadcast contracts..that TV money is huge. But I dont watch on network tv...so the station gets no advertising from me...if enough of us stop watching the broadcasts then over time the TV contracts will start to go down

The key is Nielsen families.

Each one that does this has the impact of 25,000 people. But it has to be organic as they can't tell you they are one.

Not cheap, it is a $35 million hit to cut him and would be stupid to cut him. His cap number this year is only $24 million, so it actually hurts them to cut him.

They can cut him after this season with a $12 million hit against a $90 million cap number. They save $78 million by cutting him. It was always a 3 year deal, but 4 to spread out the bonuses.

If they trade him, it is a cap hit wash and the team getting him is really just getting him for 1 year unless he reworks that second year left. Trading for him cost you $12 million next year.

I wonder if a three team trade to bring him to AZ and Kyler to the Steelers with a later round pick going to Atlanta could work.

Kirk Cousins is untradeable.

Now, if it were a 2026 2nd or 3rd rounder and a 2026/27 5th, I'd do it in a heartbeat. They can keep fields.
