And I’d be happy to consider a path to get us there. There isn’t one where the median possibility is 10 wins. I think with Cousins the median possibility is 7-9 wins.

I mean Cousins was 5-2 over the last 7 games of the season last year. I understand Bijan does a lot of heavy lifting and the OL was significantly better, but I think you can get close to that if Monti wants to put in the work and Biddy opens up the checkbook.

Part of me would HATE it, but if you bring in Cousins, Zion Johnson, Alijah Vera Tucker and Evan Neal, I think you can start making an argument for Jeremiah Love at 3.

EDIT: Personally, I would prefer to just sign Breece Hall but you could make the argument.

Yes, because 7 wins is the baseline for competency in the NFL. Cousins won five out of eight games last season with Atlanta.

I don’t really think we’re terrible. Our record is bad, and a lot of that was on bad coaching. We’re going to regress up toward the mean naturally next season; all the better reason not to tank.

I unironically love coach Mac - I remember every time at training camp in Flag, he was the mayor - glad handing everyone, saying hi and he was such a great guy. I always think he missed his calling as a college football coach. What parents could say no to coach Mac!?! He's also kind of a spirit animal in the futility of the franchise. We have to try and laugh, right?

Loved him as well was a great person, he even knew our dog's name.

Just because it is the baseline, doesn't mean Cousins is capable on this team. You think Cousins beats any of the NFC West teams? I sure as hell don't. That means he has to go at least 7-4 with the rest of the schedule. I don't see it at all.
