We don’t know if this is going on.
The only bickering is how much Bidwill is willing to pay another head coach.

Get ready for Ron Rivera doesn’t just light a fire under your ass???

Sounds to me that the Cardinals are still holding out hope that they can hire Kubiak. As feeble as Bidwill is, somehow we’ll miss out on both Kubiak & LaFleur, and somehow end up with Vance Joseph.

Unless they have a handshake agreement with Kubiak then they are dumber than we all thought.

This is taking way too long. It is not only hiring a HC but the entire coaching staff. Most of the good experienced offensive and defensive coordinators and assistant coaches have already found jobs. We will be left with a bunch of inexperienced coaches in new positions, just like three years ago.

And when they do select a coach, Michael will tell us that whoever we selected was always our guy lol. Until Bidwill leaves, there’s zero reason to blame anyone else for this franchise’s failures.

They are both idiots. Our only hope is luck.
To be fair, Monti has a long history of NOT being an idiot, and the Bidwill family HAS a long history of being idiots. We have to stop blaming coaches, players, and QB’s for what ails this dumpster fire. Never forget that fish rot from the head down.

Well, here’s what I fear regarding the delay in getting a head man: Other teams are already getting their coach who in turn is filling out his staff. The longer the Cardinals delay, the less choice we’ll have in top shelf coordinators and support coaches. We might see ourselves in the same boat we were in with Gannon — a first time head coach and a bunch of coordinators and assistant coaches who are inexperienced in their new roles. The learning curve will be two or three years (again) while we struggle to get wins. The head coach will assure us that the team is making progress and we’re on the right track. And, of course, that will not be true. The owner will tire of the losing and fire the head coach. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat.

Question, I have read rumors that Ron Rivera was interviewed for the open HC position. Is this true?
