Ok I’ve officially upped it to 40%. Cardinals are going to potentially **** this up royally. Trying to be the cleverest in the room. I remember hearing how Monti was so detailed and played out every scenario meticulously… well he’s sh!te at it so far. Slow and his aggressive and speedy pursuits are something only seen in an old peoples home. Just look at last years FA for that

Right, they couldn’t formalize the deal, but he could have a handshake agreement with LV. I’m guessing Tom Brady wants Kubiak. And they have more to offer:

1. Mendoza
2. New stadium
3. More cap room
Brady himself is a negative, I think. The structure is simply too complicated. Who decides what, and where does that leave the head coach? I think it is a mess.

The tiebreaker is they have the #1 pick.

Has anyone ever sued a sports franchise due to them not operating in good faith? Like season ticket holders realizing MB and his father have never operated this franchise in a professional way?

I mostly kid but there has to be a way for fans to make an owner want to sell.

I remember a Cleveland Browns fan suing the team because he bought season tickets for a "professional" team but didn't get that. Don't remember the outcome but I wouldn't be surprised if the caser was tossed early.

The longer this drags out, the harder it is to fill out a quality staff. That’s basically why Gannon’s staff was all promotions are guys from college staffs. They’d need to be very confident Kubiak would accept if offered to delay this two more weeks.

I think the diamond in the rough in this coaching cycle is Anthony Weaver. He gives off an old school BA vibe in interviews and has a rep as being really good at player development. Being a former NFL player and a good one brings instant credibility in a locker room.
Seems like the best/most realistic option at this point. If LaFleur left Mikey at the altar, that would be about as sad as anything for this franchise. The 1 of 32 argument apparently doesn't matter when you're the Cardinals.

We just look like amateur hour as usual. He’s here for the second time… you’ve spent two days with him. It’s not like we’re in a position of strength. This is a bad organization and prospective coaches know it… especially coaches from teams who regularly kick our ass.

Crap or get off the pot.

I think it would depend on who he could bring as staff

Being a 1st time HC he would need a strong staff

the Cleveland Browns have set a very, very low bar for hiring a head coach

i would think the Cards will clear it -- but good grief
