If you believe the rumors they were shopping KM at the trade deadline. I would say its highly likely that everyone moves on next season.

Only a moron HC candidate would accept the Cardinals job UNLESS Murray is the QB1. Doesn’t mean you can’t draft a day 2 or 3 QB, but only a fool would take that job when your best QB1 option isn’t Kyler Murray. Any offensive mind worth their salt would believe they can get the best out of Murray. Mainly because the best of Murray is still 10x better than any QB outside of Mendoza that would be available either in THIS draft or this free agency class.

So no matter who comes here, in your opinion, doesn’t agree with your assessment then he is a moron. Because he can’t possibly know more than you or I.
Perhaps maybe he believes you can’t train an old dog new tricks. Perhaps he’s sees talent he can grow with like Simpson, or Beck or let’s say Willis?
Okay.

I expect the next HC, whoever that is but especially LeFleur, to run with Murray at QB.

Nobody wants to come in to a job with Brissett at QB and I expect any HC worth their salt to think they can fix him. I've seen Cousins mentioned but I don't think the Falcons release him. They have a QB coming off a late ACL tear who may not be fit and a new HC. Heck, I think Cousins might start in ATL even if Penix is fit because Stefanski had arguably his best years with Cousins.

The aging quarterback we are most likely to get is Jimmy Garoppolo (if it's LeFleur). Was with LeFleur at the Niners and Rams. Knows the offense he is likely to run with.

They just redid Cousins contract to ease his release bruddah.

"The Cardinals, however, may have ended up as the biggest benefactor of Moore out of the picture, because Kyler Murray's trade value increased, according to multiple sources. 'One less quarterback on the market makes desperation increase,' the source said," Weinfuss wrote.

One source from an unknown NFC team indicated that Murray's trade cost "could start with a second-round pick." Meanwhile, another league source believes that Murray could be had for a third-round pick.

He explained, “As previously noted, the Vikings may want to bring in a veteran to push McCarthy or provide insurance at a minimum. Minnesota certainly won’t trade for Murray, but would it consider adding him as a bargain-bin free agent? It shouldn’t.”

Missed that, although they did it before Stefanski. I'd imagine Stefanski would want to keep him and Cousins would want to stay.

Maybe they restructure again now Stefanski is there, or they cut and resign him, but I'd imagine the new HC and Cousins want him to be there next year.

All this is, of course, if they don't get an offer they like for a Murray trade.

Jimmy G makes more sense than Cousins anyway. LeFleur has no connection to Cousins but has spent years with jimmy.

This is too high level for the KDS Crew. They openly campaigned last season for a scrub to start over K1 and then backtracked from the decision when they found out he was a scrub.

K1's no Sam Darnold. Darnold's got playoff victories. And he's in the Super Bowl.
Darnold is living proof that your chances are tremendously diminished when you’re drafted by a dumpster fire. The same applies to Murray, only Murray was much better in putrid AZ than Darnold was in NY. Time will tell.

He's done it two years in a row for two different teams.
Yes he has, but those 2 teams provided FAR better talent, with FAR better coaching. Murray has been cursed from day 1 with the Bidwill dumpster fire. Whoever does end up with Murray will be laughing at the Cardinals next year. But, that shouldn’t surprise anyone. The NFL has been laughing at us for ALL the 62+ years I’ve followed this mess.

Sweet nothing I said was untrue.

Darnold for sure has done well now that he isn't playing for horrible franchises.
Fully expect K1 to do the same if he goes to a real organization with good coaching.
K1 isn't getting any taller. His limitations will still limit him regardless of the uniform he wears. He would probably tear it up in the CFL though ala Doug Flutie.

Best GM the Cards have ever had.................at being an absolute dumpster fire and keeping his job.

xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
let me add this: the Cards have LESS cap room that the Seahawks or Rams, and about the same as the 49ers. All for 9-10 fewer wins.
