let me add this: the Cards have LESS cap room that the Seahawks or Rams, and about the same as the 49ers. All for 9-10 fewer wins.
Just a brutal analysis. Dude survived scapegoating a coach that he picked and a roster he built.

We are so cooked.

Context...

The Cardinals also have nearly 20 more players under contract than the Rams and Hawks. That is a big part of it. (not implying those players are better just 20 more 900k players adds up).

The Cardinals have the highest cap hit for a QB of those 3 teams. Kyler has a 52.6 mil cap hit in 2026 vs 33.9 for Darnold and 48.2 for Stafford.

Puka has a 5.6 mil cap hit on the last year of his deal. JSN 4.5. Those numbers will change significantly.

Seattle has 8 FAs who played over 40% of snaps. Arizona has 4. LA also has 4.

Obviously the Cardinals have not gotten impact from their cap dollars but their financial situation is pretty good.

Holy Cope Batman

They better have more players under contract considering those teams haven't had the amount of draft picks we have had the last 3 years plus their aging rosters.

Even then MO hasn't had a single probowler he has drafted while the other teams have done much better drafting with less picks.

cONtExT: MO is horrendous at building and managing this team.

Such a lazy take.
Please do better than "tAlLeRz"
Kyler isn't...
--talLeRz
--Stepping up in the pocket
--Being comfortable in the pocket
--Progressing through his reads
--Doing everything he can to succeed
--Throwing the ball away'
--Stopping tendencies to slide short of the first
--Stopping tendencies to run OOB behind the LOS
...
The list continues.

Zero issue with laying out these things.

The tall thing is so overrated and there are those who actually would have traded for Bryce Young on here who is shorter.

@602 Native I honestly do wish him the best, I just don't think everything wrong with his game is due to the Cardinals. Unless you count not doing a good job interviewing and researching him before making him the first overall pick in the draft.
Don't forget the extension of his contract for no reason while knowing he wasn't putting in the 100% effort mentally

Are you sure you're not related to him?

Your blind loyalty, while being admirable is really far out of context
Not at all out of context. I’m sure many fans thought the same of Darnold when he left the Jets and even with Carolina & Niners. Murray is extremely talented & was cursed to be drafted by a dumpster fire organization. We’ll wait and see where he goes & how he does. Until then, we’ll agree to disagree. I have 62 years of experience watching this franchise ruin some really good players. What’s one more.

Yes we will see

I wish him no harm and will be happy for him if he does well over a period of time

One thing we do agree on and that is this organization is dysfunctional from the top down

Dont forgot all the intangibles(leadership, clutch, team first, will to win) Bryce young at 180lb will lower his shoulder to pick up a 1st while kyler will skimper out bounds short of the sticks

Murray is extremely physically gifted & was cursed to be drafted by a dumpster fire organization. We’ll wait and see where he goes & how he does. Until then, we’ll agree to disagree. FTFY

As of now, he's a bang average QB in terms of NFL talent.

Said it before but Kyler and the organization would have been better off if he left after the playoff game.

Cards probably would have found their QB by now and K1 either makes it elsewhere or not.

Here is the plan offered by the Never-Murrays:

Step One - Get rid of Kyler Murray immediately!

Step Two - ???????????

Step Three - A higher level of success for the Arizona Cardinals!

Remember when we ruined Larry Cent...err...Kwamie Lass...err...Larry Fitz...err Kurt War...err...and Carson Pal...err...and Trey McBri...err...and many others...

Talent shines through even on a bad franchise. Despite poor coaching. Despite lesser talent surrounding them. They lift up others.

Should have never signed him to that big contract.
