Name some names there buddy
How about starting with many of the draft picks of the last 3 years? Even the ones that haven’t quite panned out have had injury related problems. But a bunch of them have potential.

A 5 year rebuild? To the best of my knowledge, only 1 Nfl head coach has survived 4 consecutive losing seasons in the past 30 or so years, Jeff Fisher with the Rams. Fisher had consecutive losing seasons in 2012-2015 but was kept on until 2016 because the Rams were moving from St. Louis to L.A. He was fired midway through the 2016 season with a 4-9 record.

Who are they? Who are the ones that are too young and not ready to contribute?

This is your argument. Surely you can cite the evidence for it? None of the draft picks from the past three years are ready to carry some of the load?

Nfl teams generally block lateral moves. Unless Cooter isn't the playcaller in Indy, he would have to be fired by the Colts or be given an assistant head coach title to get around the restriction, which the Nfl frowns upon.

Get off your lazy butt & look them all up. There’s close to 30 draft picks in Gannon era.

You can argue that every player has potential. It’s another example of being willing to accept mediocrity. They either don’t have enough talent or the staff Monti brought in can’t develop it. The argument isn’t that Monti has missed on every pick or move, is that he has not been able to hit on enough to make this roster competitive. Trying to hold out hope that these guys develop after 2 or 3 years is a great way to consistently be bad.

Don't worry about that DVontel guy. He pretends like he doesn't care for kyler. He really hates when people attack his baby kyler murray
He once said he stuck with him cuz he's black. Now that is great talent evaluation right there. He lost all credibility with me after that one. But you are right he's a Kyler Stan that has tried to act like he's jumped off the bandwagon.

Yep. I used to wonder why that guy would always quote my post in different threads with some smart ass thing to say. Untill I realized it was always when I said something to put down his superhero kyler

Considering JBC was kinda a hot commodity not that long ago, it's plausible that giving him Associate HC title could be legit.

You're my man PA, but this was the payoff year for the rebuild, and it has been wretched! Really really awful, terrible football! Embarrassing! Plus the way the QB1 situation was mishandled?

I'm not saying Monti or Gannon are bad guys, or they're lazy or anything like that.

But even the massive amount of injuries we've sustained is not a sufficient excuse, especially when the 49ers are playing so well with all the injuries they've had.

It's unacceptable man.

I'm a coach's player, and a company man, but this is completely and utterly unacceptable.

This is a 2 year fix at best.
I think Murray is gone.
I don’t know if Gannon is.
I don’t think this can be fixed in one year.
Even if you could fill the holes, winning coordination takes time.
I believe the Bears were closer than the Cards are and the Bears were lucky.
Best case scenario is they fix the defense (mostly coaching & health).
They also fix the Oline and WRs.
Then they get a miracle QB fix in 2027 and contend for a playoff.
So, yes Bain fits if the Giants lose and Cards trade with Giants.
5 years is a ridiculous amount of time for an Nfl head coach to finally get a team to a .500+ record. :bang:
