This guy is going to miss another week over an appendix? He’s soft. Misses way too much time, gets knocked out of games from routine collisions, not great.

Joe Burrow had appendix removed on July 27 a few years ago and didn't practice again until August 16. Lost a bunch of weight and had to get back into action slowly. He must be soft too.

I see a few people have already mentioned the body catching, but not only does that lead to drops of balls that bounce off his chest pads, but also to easy break-ups by defenders who get their hands in between the ball and his body.

If he reached his damned hands out and gripped the ball, he'd make a lot more catches.

It's mind boggling that the son of a HOF WR didn't learn to catch correctly.
FWIW, IMO there’s a time and a place for everything. There are plenty of situations where a body catch protects the ball more and boxes out the defender. By the same token, hands, seperate good from great. Marv has shown the ability to do both. Now he needs to learn consistency and comprehension of when to use one of the other for the best possible outcome.

How many games did he miss?
4-5 weeks of training camp.

This isn't about Harrison. It's about people calling out players for being injured/hurt and saying they're soft because the guy isn't playing on the schedule, they want him to be on.
There's not a player in the league who isn't doing whatever they can to get on the field. It's their livelihood and they want to be out there.

In what crazy math world does 20 days =4-5 weeks of camp?! I mean, you’re just flat out exaggerating multiple weeks here.

Nah… it’s we want to see guys playing on a schedule most other players have been on from the same injury.

I think this is incredibly naive.

internet says he had his appendix removed on Nov 10

as of today, thats 17 days ago. He practiced yesterday

he is on the Burrow timeline in terms of practice, but Burrow didnt have a game that mattered for another 2 weeks.

Guarantee he wants on the field. But he was benched.

That's when Burrow got back to light practice. He wouldn't have been able to play in a game.

How do you know the extent of his injury?? Do you know of any complications or weight loss. Or are all injuries the same. Is Darius Robinson soft because Nolen returned earlier from a calf injury?

Naive, you're naive if you think NFL players are wanting to sit out when they can be on the field.

Theres a chance we take the first WR off the board with our top 10 pick. I'm hearing more and more that the OTs in this class aren't highly regarded as prospects. Meanwhile everyone is really high on the top WRs.
There’s no chance unless we fire everyone and hire the worst imaginable GM (line on this is -225)

Cards are not taking a Wr in top 10. They're paying Harrison top 5 money, just upped McBride and are going to have to pay Wilson.

Tyson, Lemon and Tate are all good prospects but I would be amazed if we picked a WR in round 1 unless we have a new OC and new offense. We certainly can't take Lemon after apparently getting one with Marv.

I do like all 3 of them, Lemon has great hands, Tate is really good, Tyson probably the most explosive of the 3. I'm still in the OT, Edge ILB earlier rounds get Zacharia Branch in the 3rd or 4th round

Harrison next year gets less money than the Rams WR4 Tutu Atwell

I assume if they drafted a WR they'd look for a way to move off MHJ before his rookie contract was up. There isn't a coach in the league that would consider picking up his 5th year option with what Marv has put on tape his first two years.

I don't actually think we draft a WR, but if the tackles aren't great its very possible. If you take a bad tackle that means you spent a top 5 pick on a guard. We could take another swing on the 2nd most expensive position in football at WR1. Every team needs a #1.

If there’s a WR with that kind of quality someone will likely trade up for him.
