Holy crap this show is embarrassing. First episode is a 10 and then it just collapsed fast.

I really wished they focused on the business side more. I love John Hamm’s character.

They have to run the single most incompetent operation in history. All the deaths and accidents at work could have all been easily been avoided. Wrong wrench, wrong hammer, why are you standing on top of a load? Just dumb af

The ex wife is a cartoon character. The way Taylor Sheridan writes women is really odd. I seen someone bring up how he writes daughters and way over sexualizes them and now I see it. With Beth and her odd relationship with her dad in Yellowstone to this one. This one is downright creepy. No daughter would ever talk to her dad like that and no dad would ever let his underage daughter walk around in her underwear in a house full of his co workers.

I thought this had so much potential but it’s lazy AF. It’s everything that’s wrong with Taylor Sheridan.

Wow - I have only watched the first 3 episodes (it's in rotation with a few other shows). Disappointing if it went downhill that fast

Just finished the season. I almost didn’t watch it because of all the mixed reviews I kept seeing. I’m glad I decided to give it a shot. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Billy Bob (as usual) was great. I think the only thing I haven’t enjoyed him in was Goliath, and that had less to do with him and more with the writing (maybe it got better, I stopped after the first season).

Not the the best in the west, but enjoyable, no doubt. BBT ROCKS!!!!
Little add-on to this: They went well overboard with the wife and daughter (the nursing home gig, for one) and I found myself getting irritated with them more than anything else. But EVERYTHING else was really, really powerful.... and good.

It’s a general rule that 15% of every Taylor Sheridan show has to be complete nonsense but he knows what he’s doing when it comes to ratings. It’s almost forgotten now that he was considered one of the best screenwriters in the business before Paramount gave him their universe which I don’t blame him for taking.

Adding Demi Moore and Sam Elliot is a mistake i think.
The show is already successful...adding two huge names may generate more views/revenue...but not likely enough more to justify the expense...
Unless they worked cheap??

I mean, unless I’m mistaken wasn’t Demi Moore already in season one?

And I don’t care what anybody says you can never go wrong with Sam Elliott in anything
