I'd say the embarrassing loss to the Rams in the playoffs had to be his first abject failure that didn't just stare him in the face, it punched his lights out!

Possibly. But he could have rationalized that as a team loss.

Here, we’re talking about him losing his starting job to a journeyman back up player.

If that happens, there will be no rationalizing that away. There will be no laying that at the feet of his teammates.

I'm saying he’s a couple of interceptions away from getting benched for the first time in his life.

How will he respond to that kind of pressure?

I think you need to re-watch that game... Kyler literally tapped-out. Worse, when the heart of the team got knocked out stone-cold while still giving it all, even when the game was lost, Kyler sat alone on the bench while the rest of the team went to the side of our fallen hero (Budda).

Yea, the team lost... but it was far from a team loss.

It’s K1s fault

What's this got to do with anything?

Did our defense make Kyler play bad? Did it make him throw under 6 YPA or dance around and throw ridiculous grounding penalties?

Just for context though this year our defensive EPA is just a tad behind the Eagles, Bucs and Chiefs. Better than Green Bay. Better than the Chargers, Steelers and Bills.

Kyle is a Cardinal hating, K1 sycophant. I have actually wondered if you're his burner.

So when might Murray be benched if he keeps on checking the ball down and the offense is sputtering like it did most of the time before he was out with an injury?

Yes it's Kyler's fault.

the 2025 season, Jacoby Brissett has 599 passing yards, 4 passing touchdowns, and 1 interception, with a completion percentage of 64.2%. He has also recorded 67 rushing yards on 24 attempts and has a passer rating of 97.7.

kyler has no choice now - he either stands in the pocket or he falls into the quality back up qb category (where he'd be just under brissett)

kyler better make a point of taking hits against dallas - while delivering the ball - can he do it? the answer is not at all but we'll still trot him on out there acting like he's the better option

ddoggstradomis could be right - murray just might get benched infront of his friends and family - damn that would some humiliating ish

Yall Kyler has to play like a middle-third QB or HE will be the bridge to the next guy.

We cannot cut him; we can only trade him.

It would be funny though if the Rams win the Super Bowl, Stafford retires, McVay trades the 64th pick for Kyler and turns him into a superstar

I mean if that did happen, I wonder what would be the point of continuing to root for this franchise owned by Bidwill
I already don’t know what the point is other than my heart won’t let me switch…. And I absolutely hate it for that.

I mean, even if it didn’t, there’s really no point of continuing to root for this franchise owned by Bidwill… but this is an addiction, not a choice!
Its almost masochistic with me. Before Phx had a franchise, I LOVED the Steve DeBerg led Patriots, The Jim Zorn Seahawks, and at the time perpetually bad Washington Redskins. I just love a good kick to the groin, apparently.
