Your comment is just stupid. Rewatch the game and comeback with something more intelligent and not emotional.
I would give you a better reply but you don’t deserve a reply with condescending smart ass responses.
lol.. so a QB that had more attempts in 1 game than kyler has had all year.. more than 9+ attempts in 1 game than kyler has had in everyone BUT 1 game all year. 13+ than every game but 2 all year… 61% completion rate (below league average), terrible red zone pic, didn’t help the run game as poster said he had opened it up (run game was 3.7 ypc - take the QBs few runs out and it’s even lower than that, had a 65.5 passer rating, we lost the game, the opposing teams #1 CB and as out… and you have an OC on lifeline fighting for his job (assume you think he’s that f n dumb to stick to his same game plan as he is about to get fired).

You my fellow fan are the one being emotional and having zero perspective of any context here. It’s absolutely embarrassing. Whether you hate kyler love kyler, whatever. He didn’t lose last weeks game and the above shows enough context (it’s a real word, with real meaning), that JB with all the right factors in the world lines up for him was mediocre at best.

petzing was 9-14 on 3rd down conversions today because trust goes along way - because petzing knew what brissett would do - because the receivers knew what brissett would do - the o-line knew what brissett would do too by the second half and realized they only had to pass block for the pocket - not across the universe

Just watching the game now on the other side of the world.

This level of play at QB from a solid NFL back-up QB with MHJ out over half of the game indicates to me that the issue mostly fall back on Kyler.

Amazing to see that quick slants to Wilson can be completed and there is a balanced offense.

Kyler wouldn’t have made it through this game. Brissett took a couple of hits that Kyler wouldn’t have gotten up from. There were numerous plays Kyler would have simply squated under the pressure. I know two key plays he would never have made. The qb sneaks.
one would think with a back up qb starting the offense would “ protect” him by going ( or staying) conservative while leaning on the running game and short passes. Quite the opposite.
Instead, We OPENED UP the offense. Brissett hung in the pocket completing passes of over 20 yards to 6 different receivers.
Did you notice Brissett calmly threw a ball away instead of running out of bounds short of the LOS.
You can take all you stats and scenarios and shape them anyway you want for your agenda.
I saw an offense operate smoother and more consistent than we’ve seen in a long time.
Over 300 yards passing against a top flight defense by a qb who didn’t play like his hair was on fire.
Don’t worry. Your golden boy will be back no matter what Brissett does. But don’t expect the same results.
I don’t think Brissett is the end all be all. But his performance showed the glaring inadequacies outside of Kyler’s athleticism.

I've read a lot of postgame posts, and they're similar to what I read six years ago. A fan should ask themselves, what are my expectations of the Arizona Cardinals? Am I happy just to watch this team, win or lose? Or do I expect them to consistently be in the playoffs, win divisions, win a Super Bowl or Super Bowls? If you expect the latter, the Cardinals will disappoint you.

According to Wikipedia, “the Arizona Cardinals have recorded the most regular season losses (812), through the end of the 2024 season.”

I yearn for this NFL team to be near the top. And it was a great game today—Cardinals played their hearts out!! AZ Fan

There is something about a back up's first game in the line up. They come in and play loose and everything. Inspired.

It's certainly not impossible that we'll see JB crash back to earth.

But I still think I would start JB next week against GB. Let's let Kyler stare into the abyss a little bit.

All you Neil Lomax fans... you'll remember he got benched once. It straightened him out, and he came back and played better.
I recall that but the player has to be open to accept they can improve

Lol so we have subbing JB for sneaks anyway - that comment is just dumb. Top flight defense? Their top 2 CBs were OUT. I think you saw how our D looked when our inferior CBs were out?

Give Kyler this scenario - 44 attempts - OCs job on the line - 6 Olineman in - and the Ds top 2 CBs out - team coming off the most embarsssign list in history.. ya he’ll at least get your 300 yards and L.

Proud big man you are of JBs loss.

Sure, but one guy gets paid 45mil and the other guy 6 mil. You should be able to see more of a difference when the 45 mil guy can’t play.

You ride your little pony boy as long as you want. It won’t be to the playoffs even if they let Kyler pass 80 times a game.
You make it sound like Kyler isn’t allowed to throw 20 yard passes. He does at times just not to good.

All year we been blasting MO for a terrible wr room, including me. But today, the same receivers Murray throws to dud a pretty good job.

Apparently you think Gannon , the OC, the line, the Wr’s, the play calling and the running backs are the problem, but not Kyler. Okay. Don’t fret my friend. The little guy will be back and you can carry on defending him when he comes up short.

kyler had 5 opportunities against lesser defenses this year with the same oc and personnel and still couldn't sniff 300 yards because if they brought the show fear factor back he'd be eliminated in the parking lot - kyler doesn't have the cajones or size to do what brissett does

JB did a great job today, but we did still in fact lose. We will likely be 2-5 after next Sunday as well.

I just don’t understand all the Kyler hate today. Does anyone really think K1 is the reason for the 3 previous losses before today?

Are we forgetting how horrible the coaching has been?

JB is probably the best or near best backup in the league. His rating today was 89.2, which is great. Do you know K1’s average rating through 5 games played? 90.1

I just don’t understand why Kyler (for as mid as he’s been in his career) is getting viewed as this team’s problem this season.

I would expect the Cards to be deadline sellers if they plan to change QB.

Budda, JT, Jonah Williams, any Edge, Kei'trel all options. Got to build capital.

Trading Jonah to the Chargers seems obvious.

I also think Cards might not draft high. Might trade or go FA. Today's game showed they could win games with a Mac Jones level QB and not sure the staff has time to develop a QB.

Don't shoot me. But when the Falcons cut Kirk Cousins he ran this offense in Minny with Stefanski. It's the offense he flourished in.

Cousins, Brissett and a day 2 deve3QB anyone?
There are some players who would be wanted, but Monti and Gannon need to win games
