A lot of overthinking with people critical of Harrison, but he’s isn’t the one tossing the rock. Occam’s Razor tells us that JB taking over was the reason the offense opened up, and it would have been a lot more open had Harrison been able to finish the game.

Nice graph and shows the down field capabilities

we all saw it right? if they come in fast brissett gets it out fast - if they take longer so does brissett - if they give him all day he's going for the chunk play

where as kyler bails when they come in fast - bails when they take longer and runs out of bounds when they give him all day

They looked better in the second half without MHJ than with MHJ in the first half. How you guys aren’t concerned about this is mind blowing to me.
I’m not concerned. You are drawing false conclusion. I’m sure the longer Brissett played the more comfortable he became. For all anyone knows if uninjured Harrison might have won the game. Lots of season left to be played. Hopefully Harrison gets qualified and Brissett starts next week.

Exactly. There are some other variables involved, sure.

But as much as I don't like to say it, this was a huge data point indicating K1 is not running the offense very well.

It's not like this was prime Payton Manning coming in and suddenly electrifying the passing game. This was a middling, journeyman QB. A guy who could not keep a starting job on other (bad) teams. Wow.

So the next logical question then is, what would happen if we brought in guy with a little more talent than JB (and I know some of you guys are going no! no! don't change anything now! haha)?

Would the passing game run even better?

This doesn't mean K1 is a bad guy. Doesn't mean he wasn't talented coming out of college or that he's been a bum for his entire career here. There's just more and more evidence piling up that he's not the answer. Even the K1 Superfans like me have to start facing reality.

Strongly disagree! Rallis called a passive, conservative defense today. Too many easy throws, very little pressure, few blitzing & ultimately they game once again lost because the defense couldn’t stop them
Absolutely. D folded when it counted. Too much four man rush. Bad penalties and a dropped pick by Baker. Offense did what they had to do.

JB had a great day. On the flip side, let’s not forget he had more pass attempts in one game than K1 has had in any game this season. After the horrid coaching and embarrassing collapse against the Titans, throwing the ball was always going to be the game plan. Kyler would have likely thrown for a ton of yards today too, just my opinion.

JB must have been fired up to start and start against his former team. Let’s see how he performs next week before we anoint him.
