SF will have murder in their eyes on Sunday. After we embarrassed them in last year's season finale.
Shouldn’t we have murder in our eyes to do it again? I still remember pointing to the sky wa too early(but he knew). Let’s do it again.

I mean, are they supremely injured? It looks like pretty much only Kittle’s gonna be the only guy out.
-Kittle out
-Aiyuk still on IR
-Purdy limping around- really doubt he plays anything more than a back up roll
-CMC already resting his knee in between weeks- not saying he can’t still gash us, but this is not the same player.

Aside from a shanahan coached unit- who on this team is truly a big threat? Cards have no excuse

Can’t agree on McCaffrey. He was excellent last week. He’s still a top, impact player. If the Cards don’t stop him, he’ll hurt them big time.

Seeing this makes me think we should win. But, you cannot count out an injured animal. They will come out fighting. The key is to start hot and dont let up. Go Cardinals!

Yes Kittle is awesome, have you seen what the backup TEs have been doing?
CMC is a beast until he is injured, right now he's not.
CB and DT units are banged up for the Cards. Run game is not good so far.
KMs QB rating is top notch but he is averaging less than 200 yds (IIRC) per game.
I still say Cards win.

This may be a good or gone week. For Murray this is clearly a pivotal season. Playing poorly this week could severely impact playoff chances. Petzing also has to be in jeopardy. He won’t be fired midseason, but his lack of creativity is wearing everyone out. Can he build a game plan against a badly weakened opponent? Finally 4 of 5 players on the Oline are underperforming. Only Johnson is playing at an NFL level. I seem to see less pulling linemen, weak inside running and I think I’m seeing an A gap problem that panics Murray. An opportunity to take out a gravely weakened opponent can’t be dismissed. If they can’t be them now, how could the Cards handle a healthy Niners’ team?

screw the rotations - send your best 5 or 6 on first and second downs because 4 aint cutting it - we didn't even get to 3rd downs with that weak sauce - it doesn't tire the other team out it only energizes them - it doesn't allow our front to get a murderous groove going - saints and panthers is one thing but if we punk out in frisco imma be so pissed

54 hours till we take the field against the whiners.

Expect a few cheap shots this week, a hallmark under Shanahan's tenure. It's okay to get mad when they do this btw.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder when it comes to o-line play.

But yes I think everyone agrees the run blocking has been **** so far this season (pardon my french Harry :) )

I think I've heard a couple of guys say SF's o-line is not very good BGT, so there's that.

But we all agree that the front seven is probably going to have to carry this game for us. The running game is down, and the passing game is just not dynamic enough at this point to count on them to win a shoot out.

This is exactly the type game where in previous years a fading back like CMC will go off for about 200 yards total against us.

The questions is, is the JG/NR version of the Cardinals going to allow that to happen?

Or are we going to fly around a little bit on Sunday? Maybe knock CMC on his @ss a couple of times?

I didn’t buy the niners hype before the season began. Now a supremely injured niners team- we have to win this one

I still think the Rams are the best team in the NFC West and will ultimately win the division, so this is the type of game the Cardinals really need to win if they want to have a shot at the playoffs this year. Backup QB playing for the other team in a divisional game. It's a small sample size but the NFC is 5-1 so far against the AFC this year - every one of those interconference wins for the NFC makes it a little tougher to get a wild card playoff spot at the end of the year if you can't take advantage of your own opportunities to pick up wins in what's at least on paper an advantageous situation.
