The different sources, like Phrazbit says. Also the affordability. One shouldn't have to decide on wether following their favorite team is a trade off with essential spending.

In a contrast, Ishbia has tried to make it more affordable with over the air broadcasts, a semi affordable Suns streaming package, lowering concession prices for staple items at the venue, etc. Ishbia's really only place where he has not been great as an owner was swinging for the fences on two highly paid aging NBA players.

And it is. There will be games on multiple platforms going forward. Amazon, NBC, Peacock, ESPN, and NBA TV. If you want to watch all games then it will cost you but you can grab League Pass for $150 for the season.

It's hard to separate the two unless one puts most of the blame on former Suns GM, James Jones.

Of course, that was his job, but it's hard to leave Mat Ishbia blameless with all the moves made in 2023.

However you look at it, there was obviously a learning curve for a new owner. Looking at the past two seasons, where the Suns have drafted young players, it is a stark contrast to his initial wheeling and dealing.
