Verizon has an offer now that if you add a 5G phone or another line to your plan you can get Sunday Ticket for free or if you switch to Verizon 5G home internet you can get it free. I was looking at it but I have a neighbor I talk to regularly and it turns out she and her husband had Verizon Home Internet and switched because it was so slow. Since we live so close together I decided not to do that.

We have Verizon internet and it's decent.

yeah I suspect it's dependent on where you are. It's bizarre we have a fire station like 500 feet from us just outside the fence to our apartment complex. we walk by there all the time there's a big cell tower right there, and yet everyone has issues with cell reception inside

most firehouses have metal roofs....and the truth is due to the frequency modulation the reception is always poor directly under a tower.

Do you qualify for this deal? It's $192. I was able to take advantage of it.

I qualify for this, but can it be used on multiple devices. One son is moved out and one is away at college. With YouTube TV they could log in and still watch at the same time we were at home. If this deal is using my YouTube account, would that still work? Sorry for my lack of technology literacy!

My son uses mine from another state. But we can only have two devices streaming at the same time. So wife has to watch whatever games I choose.

If you’re on a computer, sure. But if you intend on getting that stream to work well on TV, I can’t found a solid way yet.
IPTV. Two years and no issues at all

So I haven't bought Sunday Ticket since it left DirecTv.

If I go the with the Sunday Ticket only option... can I watch it whenever I want, or do I have to watch it live? How long do I have access the game? I don't typically watch the games live.

I've asked the same. No response yet.

My experience was, NO you can not watch the game whenever you want...i.e. I was NOT able to record it & watch it later (fast forwarding thru all commercial breaks), so watching it live was my only option. I tried contacting customer service at YTTV to find out if this was possible & how, but all I got was smoke blown up my arse & upselling to YTTV premium...NO THANKS!

I was able to watch a condensed version of the game later, where the moment a play is blown dead, it jumps to the offense at the line of scrimmage just as the next snap happens. So you get no replay, and no commentary or analysis of the play. IMO, a crap way to "watch" a game. So I had to watch live and deal with locking screen, buffering, etc, usually on every important 3rd down

Sounds like that service is a no go. Sounds like I won't get to watch many, if any, games this season :(

I don't subscribe to any of the major channels to be able to watch the games. The only thing that I subscribe to (besides Prime, I think) is the NFL+ app. After checking it, it says I can only listen to the Cards game this weekend.
I can only get the games either on my phone and my iPad, not on TV. :(

Cheaper to go to the wing bar and watch the games there. A few of the Cards games get picked up by regional or national outlet, so I watch them at home on those occasions.

I used to do NFL+ but last year the replays were skipping chunks of the games and there's literally no way to get support.

I'm watching the Colts/Ravens game right now on my iPad. We will see how it goes this year.

The first 3 weeks of September, we'll be doing a cruise in the Mediterranean. So, won't have any football that I know of till we get back.

PS, Stout. One of the kickers for the Ravens has your name on his back. :)

It’s way more expensive to go watch at the bar. By the time you eat and have beers for 3 hours, you’d be well over a hundred bucks. Doing that for even half a season would be more.
Unless you’re one of those cheap campers who only orders a soda and takes up a table for the whole afternoon.

There's a clear spectrum between spending over 100 bucks and being cheap lol

lol. Maybe it’s because I come from a background working in hospitality/restaurants. The point is, it’s never cheaper to go to the bar all season. $350 on Sunday ticket will always be cheaper than the bar.

I dunno man... I used to go to The Vine tavern...get 50 wings and a pitcher of beer for 8.50
And just enjoy the game.

Of course, 10 cent wings are pretty much extinct now.
But I'm sure there are places with reasonable prices.

Haha. I love everyone trying to justify. Yeah, I used to go to Native New Yorker too for .10 wings. 25-30 years ago.
Point is, Sunday ticket is a deal on a 17 week basis, compared to the bar. I love going to the bar just as much as anyone. But spending 3-4 hours at a bar is going to be more than pitcher.

See... I actually prefer watching at home versus the bar. I dislike crowds, people, and drunks...despise drunks. Makes the bar a bad place for me to go watch a game. But I'll do it if there are no other options.
Fortunately I'm comfortable with the morally gray areas that bootlegging falls into.

so far so good I had reached out to YouTube because i saw no indication I had it signed up even though my email had a confirmation. They told me it would show up in my account after the preseason and in fact it has it's on the left side of my YT account now
