They pitch with absolutely no confidence. Ginkel is actually a pretty damn good reliever, but lately, he just doesn’t have the same command. Missed three outside breaking balls in a row that the hitter wasn’t gonna flinch at.

Lovullo simply has no idea how to manage in-game with the "winning isn't everything, it's the only thing" mentality. Nearly every bullpen move he makes is wrong. The fact that the bullpen can't hold a lead of any kind is a testimony to his incompetence. And he's not going to change. It will be up to Hazen to go out and get some bullpen help that even Torey can't screw up - if that's even possible.

I can't believe Lovullo still has a job. Maybe when the DBacks fall a few games under .500 Hazen will make a move to relieve Torey of his on-field managerial duties. The Dodgers were on a mini losing streak when the DBacks came to town - series win for the Dodgers (bad guys). DBacks were the cure once again for the other team's ails.

That is what is really frustrating. Obvious need, but no action. By the time any of the relief pitchers on the IL return to the team, the DBacks will already be so far out of the NL West race it won't matter.
