Ya, and it didn't help anyone catch Steve Bono.
It amazes me the scars left on the fans over the years.

We all have those moments:)

Fortunately this one I had forgotten about.

Would be a long thread to see the devastating one single plays that left those scars for each of us.

Older posters should have a 10 post limit:)

Maybe a warning label on the post warning it could be mentally unhealthy.

Looks like the Cardinals dished out some cash to land Weaver! Nice pickup at WR. Highest bonus paid to an UDFA so far this year.

Should compete for the Punt Return spot and as a backup to Michael Wilson.

To put that $255K guaranteed paid to Xavier Weaver in perspective, that's more guaranteed money than the following players who were drafted last year got:

Owen Pappoe 5th rounder ($244K)
Kei'Trel Clark 6th rounder ($208K)
Dante Stills 6th rounder ($133K)

NFL franchises have that much in petty cash. Your tax dollars at work :)

I watched from the endzone behind the play so I saw the entire thing unfold. In slow motion. Because that was Steve Bono’s only speed setting. Gawd it was awful.

The teams were lined up directly in front of me. Immediately I was "OMG! What are we doing?" It seemed like it took Bono five minutes to reach the endzone. It was one of the lowpoints in my fan history.

The guys that signed Futures contracts are counted in the active roster right now. Last year several of them were released prior to training camp startup.

Both the DT and WR don’t look bad for undrafted. I’m not watching film on long snapper sorry.
Weaver had a decent year for Colorado (better than Janden Lice for USC).

Murphy was probably miscast as a run plugger type from what I've read from Carolina fans.
