Preseason: Nuggets @ Suns Tuesday game thread, 10-10-2023

Their starters against our bench did you expect different? I think they are hanging quite well with the champs despite sitting our 3 top players lol..

Their starters but they don't have their coach. Their players probably aren't all focused given we sat our big 3 and their coach lost his father today. So I wouldn't call it a push, they definitely have the talent advantage, but I think their focus is much worse than ours.

Yuta got some size to him - if he concentrate on some boards he might see more time

Vogel put Saban back in, so there is definitely an interest in a traditional PG. wonder if that changes.

The Suns shooting has gone cold but I like the hustle and grit of Saban Lee.

Big 3 are pretty good. 1st quarter in game 1: 46 points. Game 2: 23 points.

I do not like Saban Lee running the offense. Way too chaotic. I hope Goodwin can get healthy and looks better.

Yuta isn't going to get a bunch of clean looks chillin Bob Dylan over on the side because our offense is stagnant right now - he needs to create his own offense during these stretches

It's the white lettering. Unfortunately, purple or orange lettering inside the colored suns streak would've been too busy.

They keep talking him up with how strong he's been practicing but his play on the court seems worse than last year. He may lose his 2-way deal if he doesn't turn things around.

The Suns have plenty of ball handlers. I think they want to give Saban Lee playing time given the opportunity. IMO, he has a chance to develop into a backup point guard.

No one is going to stop Jokic, but I really liked Nurk going after him early and picking up that quick foul.

I love that this team finally has FIVE shot creators. That’s been such an Achilles Heel for almost every title contender we’ve ever had.
