everybody said mark williams was supposed to be our biggest concern as far as starters and injuries go but no - not with our staff managing minutes/games

imagine if oso and richards had been injured a lot this season - teams would've beat the crap out of williams and not worried about maluach - thankfully none of that happened

instead it was jalen who go figure has never been injured - we did well with jalen out but played book and grayson (and dillon) more than we should/would have

book is built for it / used to it but teams beat the crap out of grayson allen for months - he didn't even have to have the ball - if book was sitting (or injured) the focus was on grayson - physicality being the philosophy

everybody said we had too many 6'5" guys but they're the ones we can't keep on the floor - now dillon's out with a broken arm and book's hip injury has no end date on it so guess what

we'll be playing grayson allen more than we should - especially when jalen is sitting - teams will primarily focus on grayson with physicality being the philosophy... they're gonna keep beating the crap out of my guy cuz they know grayson is already beat up and that's how you beat an injured suns team

we've been asking everybody to do more all year - now they gotta bring the toughness too with dillon gone

The role players are getting a ton of opportunities throughout the season that they wouldn't normally get. Hopefully that pays off when the playoffs come.
i almost put that in my post - gillespie and goody especially - they've started games - finished games with game winning shots and defense against big teams - part of oneale's ability is his availability

Coffee and hopefully, soon, Highsmith, will be needed to partially fill this vacuum.

Those additions are looming to be genius moves, not that Brooks can be replaced.

I was disappointed last game in that with the injuries seeming to rack up in the game, Fleming or Maluach didn't get in when the Magic went on dunk a thons against Oso. It really seems rookies are not going to get development in Ott's system.

I feel a lot the same sometimes, but the rookies are not ready and the Suns are in win-now mode.

However, when the Suns play uninspired, I would not hesitate to play the bench. When necessary, I'm not opposed to starting the bench to get the starter's attention.

You would have thought that would be the answer in some of our blow outs. However, Ott refuses to empty the bench until under 5 minutes left regardless. I just don't understand him on this one point.

Hopefully he will adapt if necessary. The Heat coach wouldn't hesitate to start the bench as a motivator.

Has any player been "not with the team" for so long after a trade like Cole Anthony? Seems weird.

what is dillon going to tell the team before the game and who's gonna be that guy? can the whole team be that guy? book's our #1 scorer and distributor - dillon sets the tone and plays mental warfare

jalen can probably do a book impersonation when his shot is falling or atleast his own version of it - if he does than grayson allen gets to move more freely

on defense it isn't next man up it's everybody - i half expect dillon brooks to become part of the coaching staff these next couple months - he's gonna be on top of anybody playing soft guaranteed

Austin Rivers comes to mind.

The Phoenix Suns drafted guard Bogdan Bogdanovićwith the 27th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. He was considered a high-level "draft and stash" prospect who remained in Europe for three seasons. The Suns ultimately traded his draft rights to the kings.

Bogdanovic stayed away from the NBA UNTIL the Suns traded his rights. Bogdanovic's agent was quoted in articles saying they did not want Bogdan to play with the Suns.

The Suns may be indecisive on who to keep with that 15th slot or fill it at all. They could waive Anthony and stay at 14 players.

I suspect they will do something with it though, but are waiting for things to unfold in regard to the current roster or do something based on need.

Still to determine timetables on Dillon Brooks and Jordan Goodwin after testing.
