Was Flores offered the job and turned it down?
Or maybe, just maybe,
1. he was so uncertain, even convinced that he wouldn't get the HC job that he took the Viking gig.
2. he's been informed that he won't be getting the HC job and took the Viking gig.
3. he was given an ultimatum by the Vikings and given either 1 or 2 signed on.

Lou and Joe Brady as OC would be fine to me. I know Joe didnt do great with Carolina, but not like they had the QB situation figured out.
He's only been involved or surrounded by NFL ownership for 58 years, he's bound to get it soon.

Right, which is why it would be BFlo needing to hold harmless in the lawsuit. Basically Mike covering his bases, in case he gets fired and wants to add on. I know...it's far fetched, just thinking of possibilities. Simplest possibility is just that the Vikings job was a sure thing and AZ wasn't, yet.

The tell all book will state that Bidwill didn't realize the position interviewing Flores put him in related to the lawsuit and then chose to wait until Flores was hired by another team before hiring a coach to avoid further discrimination accusations.
