Leaking the “study” portion of Murray’s contract?
That was about as damaging to this year as anything.
Has that ever been revealed?

I believe Ian Rapaport posted a copy of the addendum first. I guess that contracts are viewable somewhere. But, it doesn't really matter anyhow. That was a bad thing image wise but didn't cause the crap show on the field this season.

No. It doesn’t really matter now. But I was curious about this because it threw fuel on an already burning fire in what turn out to be a disasterous season. Was it Bidwill? Keim? Kyler?

Wouldnt be Kyler or his agent. Makes them look bad.

Keim was boasting about how Kyler "was different" in a good way since getting the deal done.

So either Bidwill or someone with an axe to grind.

More than likely the 3 stooges who agreed to the deal who were surprised it got out once someone did real digging on the details.

I'm glad. Clearly, it's a problem.

Better to be known then unknown/obscure.

He can't hide from it, and light is the best disinfectant.

In the meantime, it sure sucks.

I thought when it all came out, I read where all contracts are sent to every team once they are signed.

I think they are housed on the NFL's website, too...but maybe behind a paywall. It's how media folks get their hands on them. Florio breaks them all down, too.

Player contracts have to be filed with the league office and they are available on an NFL online database called NFL Portal. Likely an NFL insider like Rappoport has access to it.

I believe all front offices have access to it (for making decisions on trades), as well as most NFL employees and the NFLPA. Probably thousands of people including select media.

These contracts aren't kept secret.

Nobody leaked it.

Rapoport got a copy of the contract and was looking for the baseball clause when he stumbled upon the study clause
