I'd kick the tires on Shelton.

I read they released Josh Gordon too. He's done. The NFL ruined him and a great career with it's hypocritical stance on weed.

Isabella apparently wants to be traded.

Dude, shut up and be happy you made the roster. You have been given opportunities to succeed so many times over the last three years and sucked.

How about you actually do ANYTHING in the actual season before you start asking to dictate where you can play.

If the Cardinals are seriously considering putting Wesley over him I dont blame him. Andy deserves his shot based on preseason.

He knows he's cut in 6 weeks after Hopkins returns if he's just inactive/doing special teams just so Wesley can barely get separation. Probably better for Andy to leave now if he's got a little momentum. Otherwise, just reward him (at least give him a couple games).

They gave him permission to seek a trade months ago

if I were GM:

you keep him for the 6 weeks that Hop is out. Given injuries to Wesley and (minor) to Moore -- you might actually play him during that time.

the 6 weeks also corresponds (roughly) with the NFL trade deadline

so when Hop is back, you can move him for whatever you can get

Hey, he just read this post and that's why he wants to be traded. :)

Yeah seen that, but Cards are fine with trading him.

I just read this as Bella restating he'd like to move. He's free to leave if his agent finds a trade.

Gordon ruined himself. He knew the NFL rules just like every other player in the NFL.
Sorry, we aren't going to agree where. A league that for years knowingly put player sefey second with the "blue juice" and lack of concussion protocols hurt players and caused many to die way too early. Had they allowed THC or looked the other way by not testing, they would have prolonged careers and lives. This isn't about rules, it's about player safety and their well being.

I remember hearing Kurt Warner talk about an NFL produced pamphlet from 2008 that said there was NO PROOF that concussions led to long term brain damage. That statement was patently false.

You’re actually both right. The NFLs substance abuse policy sucks and all the players including Josh Gordon agreed to it. Maybe there was room for an exception under ADA or something, but Gordon didn’t pursue it.
