There are a tonne of good players left on the market. Less than half the top 100 have signed from what I can see.

And it's an ongoing process. There will be more cuts and trades coming. There will be a bunch of post draft cuts. Post June 1st cuts etc

Yes, a lot of the primo FA's are signed, but did anyone expect us in on Von Miller or JC Jackson? Not really.

I'm not advocating for what's happening, I'm just withholding judgement until the process is finished. No point me getting all angry now then in the next week we sign Gilmore and Clowney and have to backtrack.
Judge this team after June 1 cuts.

If I was AZ, my plan moving forward would be this.

Sign Trey Flowers on the EDGE. He is 28. He has been productive as an EDGE player even if he has never been a sack specialist. He doesn't count towards a comp formula. You can have a rotation of Golden, Flowers and Kennard going into the draft and be ok. (Other option would be Derek Barnett but he have never been a standup edge player even if I think he could do well in that role)

Sign Matt Ioannidis on the DL. Also 28. Came from a deep DL rotation. Can be a vet body up front who might be able to replicate his production from 18 and 19. Also a cut player.

Trade for Laviska Shenault. Young player who could actually be a RB but plays WR. He has upside. He can do multiple things and adds athleticism to a WR/RB room that needs it. A low round pick should make it happen.

Sign Will Hernandez at OG. No idea if he even makes it through camp but he has played for Kugler, adds youth to an older OL room, and shouldn't cost much. No reason he can't stick as at least a backup that isn't over 30.

Keim should kick the tires on Danielle Hunter in a trade. He has shown he can be a top end edge player. Probably will cost a 2nd. This team needs difference makers.
Nice group here. I've always been a fan of Ioannidis. Underrated player who bring a bit of pass rush and run stuff ability. Better player than Jordan Philips.

A DL of Watt, Ioannidis, Trey Flowers, Allen, etc is actually pretty strong. Good depth too.

Hunter has had issues staying healthy, but when healthy he might be an overall better player than Chandler Jones at this point.

The issue with your D-line above is it presumes Watt is going to be factor for more than half the season next year. Do you actually foresee that happening?

Keim builds rosters for the current year and does little planning for the future, which is not exactly a recipe for success. He will likely sign some older vets to one year deals and proclaim victory, even though we have no edge players and 2 Olinemen signed past this year. But he is paying Gardeck 4 million dollars a year for us to all laugh at his little dance, so that's fun.

FA EDGE Players above replacement
Trey Flowers
JPP
Clowney
Derek Barnett

FA WRs above replacement (that are not slot exclusive)
Allen Robinson
JuJu
Will Fuller (but his health changes things so he is a WR4)
OBJ (coming off another injury)

FA DL Players above replacement and under 30
Eddie Goldman
Matt Ioannidis

CB is still a ok market but again, the talent is mostly over 30.

And for those hanging their hats on the draft, of the eight draft picks we have, only three are better than 6th rounders. Also, we have not historically been great at drafting immediate contributors.

Even without Watt it's a much better group. Read between the lines.
No it’s not.

you didn’t answer my question. And there’s literally zero reason to believe all those guys will be on the line anyway.

Now you’ll probably get in a huff and call me chicken little or whatever other trash you want to hurl like usual when someone dares to disagree with you, but I don’t have the time or patience to read or respond to that so I’ll preemptively tell you to save it and shove it up your own ass.
