Easier said then done, but it sounds like they are going to try and rip SF’s game plan from when we played them the first time. Nick Bosa and company really tried to keep Murray from getting to the edges.

I would imagine they are also going to try and follow the game plan of GB and Carolina offensively (quick passes, emphasizing the run game)
Kyler has shown us he can step up in the pocket and rip them to shreds!

Worse catastrophe than that game? That was horrific. The beginning of the end for Wilkes imo.
We’ll, my brothers and I polished off a Montucky Cold Snack Pack pregaming, so my memory of the game itself is pretty fuzzy, tbh. Very hot in that stadium.

If Edmonds is pretty much ready, why not just ease him back this week and have him come in and not start for Conner. Everything I'm reading says he will assume his previous role and if he's not ready for that, they'll hold him back. I'd rather give him the 15% of the snaps Eno got the last few weeks instead for this week and next and then share the load again after the Detroit week. Plus, if Conner were to go down Monday, having Edmonds is a bonus.

So that's starting RB, C, RT, No. 3 CB and No. 4 CB out for Rams.

What? A big game in December which could clinch the playoffs?

I love it. This is why I keep buying season tickets.

Yup. This is also our first game against a likely playoff team since the GB game and that feels like forever ago. Time to see how we stack up going into the end of the year.

after the Cards have:

K1 out for 3 games
Dhop out for 3 games
about 7 diff o-line combos due to covid or injuries
four diff d-line combos due to covid or injury
Chan Jones out for covid
KK out of covid

im not totally sympathetic anymore

Fair enough. We went to see Rams-Cards at the collesium during the Wilkes season and getting there from Long Beach was a catastrophe.
I wish I could go to every Cardinals game and I think its not really a compelling argument to say people don't want to deal with the traffic.

People in AZ just don't have the sports passion other places have.

I call BS. They just have different factors:

A cardinals team that hasn’t given much compelling reason over their history to force kids to grow into rabid fans. The suns are a good example that this is more related to the team earning the rabid org than does the locale.

Still deal with transplant culture. People like our father changed to cardinals fans, but most stay with their childhood team. We have a lot more transplants than most major metropolitan cities.

And some “newness” of the teams. Note the Valley rabidly supports the suns when they show an inkling of being good. They are homegrown and have decades and decades of good basketball (prior to sarver decade of doom). By comparison the cards and coyotes are transplants and haven’t ever had sustained success. And the dbacks are our babiest of franchises.

When you have a long time fan here turning down FREE tickets, to a game that can... clinch a playoff game, cinch the division and a home playoff game, keep the best record in the NFL because of TRAFFIC? Traffic... we're talking about TRAFFIC?

Lack of passion.... what else can we call it? I honestly don't know.

Take the day off or get there in the 2nd qtr if you can't do that. This isn't a Coyotes game.

I think anyone who has posted here for as many years as Kerouac can be safely called passionate. Questioning his passion bc he has different viewing criteria than do you is poor form imo.

That's not true. I watched a couple hundred fans show up for a Suns parade when they LOST to the Bulls in the 93 finals. They just take a while to trust what they are seeing on the field.
