could we just give it to OKC this year?

If we throw in another first round pick. :)

Only joking but I doubt #29 is high on OKC's priority list. We would have to negotiate something.

I’m seeing us giving a first in 2022 but I don’t see any protection or anything on it.

That pick is lottery protected. It might just be protected 1-12 but either way, we're not keeping it.

Suns draft picks are in a lock box thanks to the protection on the first round pick included in the trade for Chris Paul.
If we are talking about a deal with OKC I’m sure the two could unwind the protection. Dontcha think?

That’s only currently though. After next year’s pick conveys we’re free to trade future picks (assuming we make the playoffs).

An NBA team is not able to trade consecutive picks. Under these conditions the Suns wouldn't be able to trade the 2023 pick at least until draft day of that year.

The Suns will have all their first rd picks the minute OKC or whoever uses that pick in next year’s draft.

This is good to know. I wasn't sure it worked that way.

One of a number of prospects I wanted the Suns to consider instead of drafting Davon Reed.

Suns can't seem to get those second round picks right. If I recall correctly, Reed had injury issues.

Praise from Draymond Green for Booker, Middleton and Holiday for keeping their word and participating in the Olympics.

Here is a snippet from ESPN and a box score for those interested:

The U.S. led 74-67 with 3:41 remaining, before Evan Fournier ignited a 14-0 run that helped France secure the victory.
