That pick is lottery protected. It might just be protected 1-12 but either way, we're not keeping it.

That’s only currently though. After next year’s pick conveys we’re free to trade future picks (assuming we make the playoffs).

An NBA team is not able to trade consecutive picks. Under these conditions the Suns wouldn't be able to trade the 2023 pick at least until draft day of that year.

Suns can't seem to get those second round picks right. If I recall correctly, Reed had injury issues.

I hope they're stuck with him.
As a Suns fan, I don't think I'd take him for free. He plays well when a game is in hand, but when the going gets tough he flat out gives up.
