Simmons is pivotal vs Patriots

In addition to beefing up the DL, Simmons will need a big game next week. The Patriots run game has become quite a force, and they no doubt will try to run it down our throats. That running game starts with Newton & I would have Simmons following Cam all night. If he can shut down Cam from running, we stand a much better chance of slowing down their overall run game. If we don’t, it could be another loss. If Murray’s shoulder is still an issue, we will struggle to run the ball & our offense will look similar to what it looked like against Seattle. Unfortunately, this will be a tough, tough game for us to win. BB will outcoach KK, so Murray will need an incredible game for us to pull this one out.
