If they are going to create situations to open up Ayton for 3 then he needs to take the shot when he gets it. Basically had to reset the offense after he opted to dribble into traffic over shooting a 3.

Cam Johnson though, continues to look solid in all aspects.

Yeah I was pissed when Ayton passed that up.

This is where Booker needs to take control and put the game away. He's used to being the guy in the 4th but he needs to learn to put games out of reach when they're up by 2-3 possessions instead of what he normally has to do, which is get them back in it when they're down 3-4 possessions.

Okay.. if Ayton can stick that corner 3 with any kind of regularity, that’s a big addition to his game. It looks smooth.

Next offseason, gotta work in those handles/hands. If he can start taking people off the dribble as well? Nothing can stop him but himself.

Thank goodness we won that one.

Ayton ends up with an impressive line but he’s such a jekyl-Hyde player within the same game. First half 10 rebounds and 6 points. Second half 2 rebounds and 18 points. His three point shot looks like it’s for real. But he will get run off the line eventually. If he can handle the ball (should be his next evolution) he’ll destroy people (if motivates). Like embiid.
