really? get the ball down to the 10 yard line, run right up the gut for 1. then on 2nd and 9, run up the gut again for no gain, which gets a penalty also? DEAD ZONE play-calling on 1st and 2nd down killed that drive.

So we need to run in the red zone as long as the run play is successful? We have 150 yards + rushing...we ran the ball twice but had some bad penalties. That isn't on Kliff. Players have to execute.

It is the same on the Sherfield drop and wrong route. Play call was ok, bad execution.

Watched KK during the game. Hard not to agree with Bradshaw’s pregame comments that the Cards don’t really have a head coach. I saw no interaction between KK & Joseph.

Very true, but we knew that going in. The Cardinals preference was to hire KK as their OC. But if he was wildly successful at that, they would have lost him to someone who would hire him as their HC a couple years down the road. I guess the Cardinals were willing to let KK make mistakes.

That was a bad flag. He blocked him from the side. Guys do it all the time and don't get called.
