Haven't read it yet, but Ernest Cline did write another book after RPO. It's called Armada. Sounds a bit like a modern take on The Last Starfighter to me.

Nice. I'll check it out.

Does sound like The Last Star Fighter though.

Just finished it a few days ago. It was good but no where near as good as his Ready Player One book.

I haven't read RPO, but I really liked Lock In by John Scalzi and Artemis by Andy Weir.


Both are futuristic novels - mysteries set in futuristic worlds.

I'll check these out next.

Reading the new Malcolm Gladwell "David and Goliath". Pretty good so far although I still prefer Outliers.

Finished David and Goliath. Gladwell is a beast. All his books are great reads.

This was fantastic. Took me a while because you have to keep translating the Latin phrases, but well worth the time. Great suggestion, @Southpaw . Dark, funny, and surprising at times. Holds up extremely well.

Interesting read. Opened my eyes to a plethora of ethical questions we'll need to answer in the near future about extending human lives. Nanotechnology is going to blow up healthcare as we know it.
