This may be the most anticipated draft I'll ever watch. Lots of good players and varying opinions on how high or what team. I think it's being held earlier this year than normal

Because he’s just like the other QBs I mentioned earlier.

Some team is going to insist that you, MJ and the pundits who have been applying the stigma to Rudolph are mistaken. Rudolph will be taken in the 1st round. Could it be the Cardinals? The Cardinals have been doing their due diligence in scouting him.

Keim should be relinquished of his GM duties if he even thinks about pulling some s*** like that.

Beth Mowins causes me to switch channels. She is horrible. Even muting the sound does not help since I can still imagine what she is saying. Spouts one cliche after another with that effected voice. Another ESPN gaffe.

When she did the NFL game my wife, who was reading a book next to me, looked over and said "Her voice is sooooo annoying.". I agreed and turned off the game, just couldn't take it or her banality. JMO of course.

And, before anyone bags on me about misogyny, I don't have ANY problem with female announcers in ANY sport. Mowins is simply horrible in sound of voice and caliber of content. There are plenty of men announcers that I can't stand...<cough> Collinsworth<cough>,,,

I have seen some mocks who hav Washington in Round 3.
I like washington but don't see him as a 1st rounder and a #1 WR. More slot type. The list of available WRs does not scream 1st round. 2nd round and below is loaded with value.

2nd round pick = James Washington, Simmie Cobb, Courtland Sutton & Anthony Miller. I would go for one of those. All of them might not be available in 2nd, but at least 1 of them could.

Lmao. What have you been watching? Rudolphs numbers over 4 yrs are off the charts. Why the hater of the guy?
He's a Big 12 QB...there's always going to be negative stigma around any QB who plays in that conference. They all put up huge stats, and then are complete duds in the NFL. Not saying that's going to happen to Rudolph, or any future Big12 QB's, but the stigma around that conference and QB's isn't good...at all.

Agree. Rudolph could very well develop into a good QB but stats can be deceiving as they may not translate in the NFL because level of competition and NFL offensive system may take time to absorb. You have to look at attributes: arm strength, accuracy, mobility and football IQ in addition to production and level of competition. Franchise QBs check these boxes. Sometimes you have to take the guy that checks off the most compared to other guys in the draft. QBs in a pro style system get extra points because they have that experience that puts them years ahead of a spread offense system QB.

I can see where people think most Big 12 qbs are dink and dunk like Texas Tech has done for years. Oklahoma State runs a lot of post and fly routes and deep corners making them somewhat different than the other teams. Rudolph is really accurate on deep throws unlike the other teams who don't even try it. I think he may be a starter sooner than people think.

Like I said before they run a tempo offense those QBs don't succeed in the NFL. They rack up huge numbers, run everything from the shotgun, get there plays from the sidelines.

Mariota is the greatest QB ever in that system, is he better than Mariota in any area? How has Mariota done in the NFL?

I'm saying Rudolph will be a better pro. Mariota hasn't done much. He's not a good pocket passer for the most part.

That's what I'm saying. Your basing that off what? Mariota was like the best possible candidate to suceed out of that system a super smart kid a great leader he had all the intangibles and all the physical tools and you see how he's struggling in the NFL.

I'm sorry I just don't want anyone coming out of that tempo system

collinsworth and michaels were once the two guys I hated most in nfl broadcasting.... sadly,...a few weeks ago I realized they are now one of the best teams in the game...football broadcasts have gotten very poor.

I have the guy as a top 50 pick... he may have elevated to top 40...
Dont be surprised if a team like,...say,...Indianapolis...trades away that 3,..uses their new first rounder on oline or db,..then takes a shot at Rudolph early in the second. Would make sense for Indy, they think Luck will return, but they can hedge their bets and provide solid comp for Brissett..
if they actually get LUCKy..they could have some solid trade bait in a couple of years. Rudolph would be a decent fit for what Indy tries to do on offense
