In this order:
Mathews
McFadden
Spiller

Draft a guy too, if we sign DMC.

When all are healthy: Mathews >>>>>>> Spiller >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DMC.

Matthews is no longer an option.

The Raiders are screw ups and most players I believe are less than enthusiastic playing for them... hell yes, I would roll the dice on a low risk contract for Darren McFadden :)

With an improved offensive line he is going to play better.

And no nagging ligament injury and is footwear he had to wear a boot all week during the season... However he still not a number one in my opinion

With an improved foot he'll play better, but he's not a feature back. And frankly, way over rated on this forum.

Scratch Spiller off the list. He signed with the Saints. Looking more and more that we're going into the season with the same do-nothing running backs we had last season.

Yeah, now the cupboard is looking pretty bare. Luckily it's a solid draft, so I'm not too concerned.

Unless we get Adrian Peterson, of course, but I don't anticipate that.

Dallas signs McFadden. There's officially nothing of substance left. We sign the top O-lineman but don't have anyone to run the ball behind him. I have zero confidence in our running game right now.

You would have been happy with Mathews, DMC, or Spiller? Glad we didn't get any of them. Even if we don't end up with AP, we still have some decent backs and also they can pickup a thumper RB in the draft. They aren't missing out on anything if they are holding out for AP and don't get him. Its really a win win for the cards.
