I'm really surprised Graham didn't get it after winning the fan vote.

Also, who would've predicted 3 defensive guys and one from offense for us before the season started?

I'm really happy for DRC and Dockett. DRC has the potential to do this a whole bunch of times before he's done.

Wow I am very happy for DRC. I even think I wrote a post at the beginning of the season projecting that he would get outside Pro Bowl consideration.

Now he needs to not let that get to his head because he still has room to go before he gets to Revis level.

Of all that made it, I'm happiest for DRC. He stepped his game up big time after the Colts game and received an unfair amount of flack from fans about personal things (i.e. gold teeth). Next year: All-Pro!

The way Boldin has been playing last 6 or so games, he also deserves it... too bad for his ankle issue early in the season.

Graham & LSH were robbed!!! The punter Andy Lee (SF) stats aren't as worthy of a berth as the Aussie. Oh well, maybe our guys wont get to attend anyway.

So alternates don't count as selected unless there is an injury or pullout of a selected player for whatever reason?

Yep... got my answer from Urban's blog

The Cardinals had a host of other players come up shy of the actual roster but were named alternates, meaning they would make it if someone drops out

Lee led the NFL in net yards per punt but I would argue some of that is their offense is inferior so he gets to kick away more often where Graham often is kicking for the inside the 20 which cuts his average.

I absolutely do not agree with the pro bowl pulled in a week before super bowl... that is an almost automatic drop out of players from super bowl teams, which is not fair.

Alternates may play a greater role in this season’s Pro Bowl given the game has been moved to the off weekend between the conference championships and the Super Bowl. That means the players from each Super Bowl participant won’t play, and there are two fewer weeks for players banged up from the playoffs to recover for the all-star game.

Then again, the Cardinals are hoping none of their guys can go because they will be too busy with Super Bowl preparations.

Great! I guess if the 49ers make the Super Bowl, Graham's got a chance!

Well I'm pretty sure you earn more money playing in the Super Bowl than in the Pro Bowl. And I doubt there's a player in the NFL who would prefer the Pro Bowl to the Super Bowl.

So it seems fair to me? Lots of players bow out every year anyways they don't want to get hurt, this way they don't have to bow out.

but Graham was within a yard & had him by 10 inside the 20 & will break the NFL record this weeked. Throw in only 3 touchbacks & to me the stats aren't close.

within the next 2 years DRC will be considered the best CB in the game. Teams already aren't throwing to his side. His size and recovery speed are out of this world. You figure his technique will only get better and that's when he'll become the best. He's already athletically the best.

Not if it is after super bowl like it used to be...
