There are still 2000 tickets to be sold by today for Sunday's game to be broadcast over TV (locally). FM 92.3 will carry the game if all else fails.

Its only 2k tickets dam.. People act like its like SDS days when we needed to sell 25k to get a sellout..
i still think it will sell out.
It will sell out. Someone will pick up the remainder and donate to charity or whatever.

Regardless of whether or not this game sells out ,the NFL needs to do away with its ridiculous blackout policy. No other sports league has a similar policy and it absolutely cripples struggling teams abilities to build a young fan base. All of my friends are sports fans, and while we all say we're Cards fans, they're pretty far down on the list after the Suns, ASU, the D'backs, and even the 'Yotes. Why? Because growing up, the NFL told me I wasn't allowed to watch my home team on TV. When I was 12 I didn't have the money to buy a ticket, and I couldn't drive to Gila Bend to watch the game on satellite. So a lot of people my age (24) instead of adopting the Cards opted to cheer for teams they could actually watch and follow like Pittsburgh or Dallas.
The only thing the local blackout does is punish young local fans who should be the building blocks of the franchises future revenue streams/fan base. Its ridiculous and ought to be abolished sooner rather than later.
Well that ends our sellout streak in my mind. Being bought up by corporate or for charity doesnt count. AZ fans suck.
Pretty sure that has already happened once during our sellout streak.

Happens to other NFL teams all the time.
