Forget lunch what's for dinner?

Come on, someone had to start this thread. :D

I stopped at AJ's and bought some sausage and peppers from their Italian Kitchen and a jar of marinara sauce. It's simmering, (is that a word) as I type.
I'm going to put it on some Capellini pasta with shredded Romano cheese and some sourdough garlic bread.

Of course I had to buy some wine too. A nice Shiraz and a Cabernet Sauvignon.

Sauce needs to simmer for another hour but the wine doesn't.
Yum, yum!

Went to Red Lobster for mom's birthday.

A nice little salad with ranch dressing....

And a nice big plate of shrimp + lobster linguine. Didn't finish it all, almost did though.

Cracker Barrel is freaking AWESOME....

I almost slapped a waitress at a Cracker Barrel in Austin. I ordered sourdough with my meal and she asked "what kind?" So I looked at her and said "sourdough" in which she replied "what kind?", so I looked at her again and said "sourdough" in which she replied in a nasty voice "which kind?". Finally I looked at her and said "the sour kind". In which she replied "we have two types of sourdough white and wheat", so I came back with "It would have been nice of you to say that in the first place".

I've never wanted to slap a waitress before or since. But I think there is a special place in hell for that lady.

Overrated. Worked there for 3 months as a second job while my wife was pregnant with our first child.

Did you inform customers that you had white and wheat sourdough before asking them which kind they would prefer?
