Morocco go up against Zambia in their final group game at the Africa Cup of Nations at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium on Monday evening.

The hosts were held to a 1-1 draw by Mali last time out, denying them qualification to the round of 16 ahead of this fixture.

Zambia, meanwhile, were held to a goalless draw by Comoros, meaning they have picked up just two points from their opening two games.

Match preview​

Morocco sit top of Group A with four points, two more than second-placed Mali and only need a draw to qualify for the knock-out phases.

The Atlas Lions enjoyed a dominant display against Comoros in their opening fixture, beating the Coelacanths 2-0.

Morocco were also domineering against Mali, creating five big chances to the Eagles one, but were not clinical.

The hosts will look to avoid the same here to secure a victory and progress to the round of 16 with momentum.

Zambia are leveled on points with second-placed Mali and will be aiming to avoid defeat to progress to the knockout phases.

The Chipolopolo have been poor offensively so far, registering the lowest expected goals (xG) in the group, but boast a good defence.

Zambia remain without a win in the competition since they won it in 2012, and will be hoping that poor run against the Atlas Lions.

Morocco coach Walid Regragui has confirmed that Achraf Hakimi will feature in this game, but failed to lift the lid on whether he will start.
