Scott has served as Seattle’s defensive backs coach and passing game coordinator for the past four seasons.

The Seahawks ranked first in scoring defense in 2025 and were 10th in passing defense (193.9 yards per game) and fifth in interceptions (18).

That is sinking so badly that I don't even know what to say

A really bad start for ML to be saddled with Rallis instead of bringing in his own guy

The locker room needs a fresh voice and get rid of all the stink from the last staff

Mike interviewed four people for the job. Do you think they were always going to keep Rallis and they were just stringing all those other people along? Or is it more likely that out of all the candidates, Mike just preferred Rallis?

What do people really think happened here?

Next season is a write-off anyway. We don't have a quarterback, and we're unlikely to get one. So worst-case scenario if we suck next year, Mike has a scapegoat in Rallis. We draft a quarterback in 2027, and we get a new DC.

I don't believe any coach in the league, not one worth their salt, would evaluate their own roster without working with them. It's like judging a meal by the recipe.
Folks who eat and cook for a living can actually do that at an incredibly high level.

More cooking analogies. Keep em coming!

Rallis Defense vs the NFC West according to statmuse:

20243–314123.5
20250–620634.3

Imma head for the Hopium den and believe Rallis was hamstrung by his head coach's views on defense. What else do we have except to be miserable? And thats no fun.

My only hope is ML coached against Rallis for three years, don't know how but maybe Rallis impressed him??

In all honesty, how can anyone measure a coaches ability with 3rd and 4th stringers out there?

It just means they run it back with KM and JB now. We’re tanking without trying to tank ☹️

Yes but how many of these are starters/primary backups/impact players?

We didn’t go 3-14 because Bilal Nichols missed 12 games.

And we write off '27 because we have a new QB and DC. I'm running out of 'next years'.
