Finding a starting-level big man is arguably the Boston Celtics top priority this summer. Neemias Queta proved capable of fulfilling that role last season; however, his inexperience became evident once the postseason arrived. Fortunately for the Celtics, they have multiple tools available this summer, including the non-taxpayer mid-level exception and a sizable traded player exception.

However, it would appear Boston is canvassing the league to gauge the value of Jaylen Brown, who is arguably the team's biggest trade asset this summer following a career year. Assuming Boston is open to dealing with Brown, finding a big man to be the centerpiece of a deal could be a logical pathway to filling the gap in the Celtics front court.

During a recent appearance on the "Dan Patrick Show," Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix shared his belief that Boston should explore what the framework of a Brown for Evan Mobley swap would look like with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Mobley, 25, is one year removed from being named as the Defensive Player of the Year, and could instantly anchor the paint for Boston for the next five or more years.
